𝗛𝗦’ 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

With excellence and camaraderie combined, the Academic Varsity surmounted great heights as they vied for victory in the Notre Dame Educational Association (NDEA) Tertiary Meet 2025 – Quiz Bowl and emerged as the champions of the said competition. The 10-point difference made them the winners, and it is because of their consistent, constant strife to progress. 🔥

𝗡𝗗𝗠𝗨 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 '𝟮𝟱 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽

KORONADAL CITY — Notre Dame of Marbel University (NDMU) continued to stand at the forefront of academic excellence as they topped the NDEA Tertiary Meet 2025 Quiz Bowl, held at the BRC Convention Hall, December 4.

NDMU representatives, Remar Lentija, Nathaniel T. Tan, and Francheska C. Ojoy along with their coach Mr. Karl Evan R. Pama, tackled every question with steady focus and confidence accumulating a total of 225 points.

In an interview, team captain Remar C. Lentija, expressed his pride in being hailed as champions and shared that their motivation was inspired by the legacy of their former coaches and past NDMU representatives:

"I feel proud not on myself but also with the capabilities of my fellow varsity members since I feel that we did our best to actually win this title for the second time," he said.

While, one of his teammates Nathaniel T. Tan noted the significance of teamwork and the strategic delegation of roles.

"We divided all topics equally depending on the specialization and another strategy is we always study together, we review together, and gina process gid namon kung diin kami mahina nga field," he shared.

Driven by the responsibility of defending their title, the team pushed forward with purpose and confidence.

"Our victory means that the education offered here in our university, proves that our school, NDMU, offers a high-quality education, so we can say that our victory isn't just acclaim" Lentija emphasized, now in his second year of the competition.

NDMU's consistent victories over academic competition cements their legacy embodying academic excellence and prowess among Notre Damean schools.

The College of Education’s 4th Year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science students officially transitioned into their role as Pre-Service Teachers during the solemn Silak 2025: Send-Off Ceremony, November 25.

The pinning ritual symbolizes the acceptance of responsibility and the commitment to uphold the standards of the teaching profession.

As future Science educators, this cohort carries the critical task of nurturing scientific literacy and critical thinking in secondary schools.

The event, attended by faculty and proud families, served as a powerful send-off, acknowledging the students' academic rigor and dedication as they prepare to bridge theory with real-world practice in their upcoming internships.
