🏳️🌈🇵🇭On June 20, 2026, AURA Community and Allies proudly celebrated Pride Month 2026, a remarkable night filled with unity, diversity, empowerment, and pride. The celebration brought together members of the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, supporters, sponsors, local government officials, and guests who shared a common vision of equality, acceptance, and inclusion.🌈🐦🔥
The celebration opened with the vibrant Parade of Colors, where participants proudly showcased the beauty of diversity and the spirit of Pride. Highlighting the different designs and colorful costumes were presented by the aura community and allies. ✨💖
The program commenced with a Moment of Silence in loving memory of our dearly departed AURA member, Madam Bryan Labadan, We honor the legacy, kindness, and contributions that will forever remain in our hearts and continue to inspire our community.
The event was officially opened through the Opening Remarks delivered by Sangguniang Bayan Member and Acting Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Ingrid R. Archinue, N Grid Arch who emphasized the importance of promoting inclusivity, respect, and equal opportunities for everyone.
The audience was then entertained by the spectacular Drag Queen Competition, where contestants displayed exceptional confidence, creativity, talent, and artistry.
This was followed by an inspiring message from Mr. Jagger Tanudra (former AURA President for external) who encouraged the community to continue standing proudly, supporting one another, and advocating for equality and human dignity.
A significant highlight of the celebration was the Oath-Taking Ceremony, administered by our former AURA President, Mr. Junie Manto Tuozo, symbolizing the renewed commitment of our newly elected officers to uphold the organization's mission of service, unity, and empowerment.
The fun continued with the exciting Double Kara Competition, filling the venue with laughter, music, and camaraderie.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our distinguished Panel of Judges, Ms. Twinkle Alterado(AURA Vice-president for external affairs) Ms. Bella Bella and Ms. Erika Mea Aballe, whose professionalism, expertise, and valuable insights greatly enriched the event. Their thoughtful evaluations and words of encouragement inspired all participants to continue developing their talents while embracing confidence, authenticity, and excellence.
The success of this celebration would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, hardworking organizers, community partners, and every individual who joined us in making this event meaningful and memorable.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to our event hosts, Ms. Montil Eg (AURA President) and Mr. Jay Olvina Pantaleon (AURA former President), whose energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm kept the celebration lively and engaging throughout the program.
The event concluded with heartfelt Closing Remarks delivered by AURA Vice President for Internal Affairs, Mr. Jay Atuel reminds everyone that Pride is not just a celebration but a continuing movement for equality, respect, acceptance, and love.
