Modern technology has been playing a crucial role in our every day life. With every swipe, with every click, we did not realize that we are being drawn to the virtual reality rather than the present. For some, they might not make use of technogy in a way it is intended to be used.

As we embark on our journey in the digital age, let us seize this moment and campaign for the rights of our people. By making use of social platforms to advocate for the rights of the indigenous, it will reach a wider audience which can be a big help to various organizations and advocacies—like 𝗗𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗶.

𝐀𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞, 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭:

• Our 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 that shaped our roots — without them, our culture would not have developed and progressed

• Our 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀 who preserved tradition — without them, our lifestyles and traditional ways would not be existent and sustained up until now

• Our 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 that keeps us our identity alive — without this, our Filipino name would have been long gone and erased.

See? There is beauty in our varying cultures, traditions that were passed down each year—each had their own beauty and significant traits. That is why, to relive this moment, let us make use of modern technology to further promote the rights of the indigenous.

Who are the indigenous tribes in the Philippines? Who are they? 🤔

Let us learn more about the different indigenous tribes in our country: the Aeta, Batak, Mangyan, Ifugao, and many more. These groups carry with them their historical backgrounds and traditions that they have sustained up until this day. Despite giving way to our country's diversity, they are suffering. Therefore, they need our utmost support and protection.
