In Celebration for our World Red Cross and Red Crescent Month, the Philippine Red Cross – North Cotabato Kidapawan City Chapter warmly invites all interested youth, including RCY members with or without councils and walk-in participants, to join the Summer Youth Camp 2026.
With the theme “𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀,” this activity aims to develop essential survival skills, strengthen leadership, and promote humanitarian values among young individuals.
📅 Date: May 8–10, 2026
📍 Venue: Purok Durian, Barangay Linangkob, Kidapawan City
Participants will engage in meani@ngful learning experiences, including leadership development, team-building activities, and outdoor survival skills training.

Today, you celebrate not only the completion of your academic journey, but also the meaningful service you have rendered as compassionate leaders and lifesavers. Your dedication to humanity, your willingness to serve, and your courage to step forward in times of need truly embody the spirit of the Red Cross. You have shown that even at a young age, you can make a powerful difference in the lives of others.

As you move on to the next chapter of your lives, carry with you the values that have shaped you: volunteerism, integrity, empathy, and resilience. Always remember that the world you are entering is full of challenges, but it is also full of opportunities for those who are brave enough to serve beyond themselves.

The Grade 11 Sports Fest was successfully held on February 26–27, 2026 at KCNHS, as requested by the HOPE teachers. Grade 11 players actively participated in various sports activities, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and school spirit throughout the two-day event.

Ensuring everyone’s safety, the KCNHS Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC) served as official first responders during the entire Sports Fest. RCYC volunteers were strategically stationed around the venue, ready to provide immediate assistance and basic first aid when needed. Their presence highlighted the importance of preparedness and reinforced a safe and well-organized celebration for all.

This initiative has been launched in response to a recent low supply of blood in our local blood banks, aiming to ensure that life-saving reserves are available for those in urgent need.
