Afternoon shift volunteers of Kidapawan City National High School - Red Cross Youth Council (KCNHS-RCYC) aids the Card Distribution for afternoon shift classes and PhilHealth Yakap Program at KCNHS Covered Court on September 18, 2026.

Through teamwork and coordination of these volunteers, they have guided parents and helped set-up the venue for the card distribution of Grade 9, 10, and 11:

โ€ŽThe Kidapawan City National High Schoolโ€“Red Cross Youth Council (KCNHS-RCYC) joined the 1st Unified 911 Fire Square Roadshow on September 11, 2026, where its young volunteers gained lessons they can carry back to their school and community.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽLed by the BFP Regional Office XII, together with the Kidapawan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, 911 Kidapawan, Kidapawan City-PNP, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and Armed Forces of the Philippines, the event brought emergency knowledge closer to students and young volunteers.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽMore than simply watching, the KCNHS-RCYC experienced the activities firsthand. They had the opportunity to witness rescue demonstrations, learn basic rappelling and rescue operations, and see up close the firefighting tools and equipment used by responders in actual emergencies. Through these experiences, preparedness became something they could see, understand, and appreciate beyond words.

โ€ŽThe roadshow also featured mental health information dissemination and legal advice, giving the young participants a wider understanding of what it means to respond and serve a community.

โ€ŽFor the young Red Cross volunteers, the experience was a reminder that learning to be ready is learning to serve.
