EUTROPHICATION

In fisheries, eutrophication happens when water bodies receive too many nutrients (like nitrogen and phosphorus), often from fertilizers or waste. This causes excessive algal growth, which eventually reduces oxygen in the water.

⚠️ Effects include:

👉 Algal blooms that block sunlight 🌞
👉 Oxygen depletion leading to fish kills 🐟💀
👉 Poor water quality for aquaculture 🚫

💡 Tip: Prevent eutrophication through proper waste management, responsible fertilizer use, and regular water monitoring.
