When: February 8, 2025 (Saturday) at 8:00am onwards
Where: Sitio Parai, Nantawakan, Kasibu, N.V
What to bring: Bolo(Gulok/Tabas), Planting shovels (Bokwal)
What to wear: Cap, Sweater, Pants, Boots(Botas)/ Or any closed footwear

Briefing will be at Nantawakan Brgy. Hall before proceeding to the planting area. You can bring your own food or we can share what the community can provide, please do not expect too much and we thank you for your help! 🌱

Youth Parliament is a platform that allows young people to engage in the democratic process, express their views, and influence decision-making on issues that matter to them. It often involves young representatives debating various topics, proposing solutions, and interacting with government officials. This initiative is aimed at fostering political awareness, leadership skills, and civic responsibility among youth.

Greetings of peace and good health!

We are excited to invite you once again to our event entitled, "Concert for a Purpose", on August 31, 2024, from 6:00 to 9:30 PM at the Plaza, Upper Parai, Nantawacan, Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya. This special event aims to raise awareness and support for two incredibly brave individuals in our community: Jhefford Tadao, who is battling Congenital Heart Disease, and Charlize Cumpipis, who faces the daily challenges of Cerebral Palsy.

🎟Tickets are still available for purchase and can be conveniently paid via GCash. Let’s unite for a cause that truly matters and help bring hope and relief to those in need.

Join us for an evening of heartfelt music and community spirit as we come together to make a difference in their lives. Your presence and participation will not only provide much-needed support but also show these kids that they are not alone in their fight.

LOOK| Barangay Nantawacan Shines at Citrus Festival 2024!🍊

This year’s Citrus Festival, themed “Deeper in Stability, Resiliency, and Productivity,” was a true celebration of our community’s hard work, unity, and vibrant culture. Our barangay proudly participated in various events, showcasing our spirit and achievements:

🏆 Kasibu Sportsfest
Our athletic teams has written a remarkable history:
- Volleyball Women (Nantawacan Aces) secured the 9th place with determination and teamwork.
- Basketball Juniors (Nantawacan Road Runners) earned an impressive 3rd place, demonstrating skill and youthful energy.
- Basketball Seniors (Nantawacan) tied for 10th place, marking a significant improvement from previous years.

👑 Miss Kasibu 2024
Maria Rocelle Luwalhati T. Moya brought immense pride to our barangay by clinching the 4th Runner-Up title. She also dazzled the judges with her creative entry, winning Best Tourism Video.Her achievements reflect her purpose-driven spirit and dedication. She is indeed a woman with a purpose.

🌾 Agri-Tourism Trade Fair
Our booth was a showcase of Barangay Nantawacan’s agricultural and handicraft offerings. Although we placed 16th, our display highlighted the richness of our local products which captivated the attention of many visitors. Special congratulations to Barangay Captain Fidel Bunoy for winning the heaviest cucumber award, adding a touch of distinction to our participation.

These accomplishments underscore our barangay’s resilience and potential. We’re proud of our progress and look forward to even greater achievements in the coming years. Here’s to continuing our journey with renewed energy and enthusiasm!
