Placida Mequiabas NHS Grade 10 students joined forces with GSP PMNHS for an empowering HIV Awareness Symposium with Doc Al Harvey N. Galorio, MD, MPH. Doc Al Harvey's talk at the HIV/AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Infections Awareness Symposium shed light on crucial topics, empowering our Grade 10 students to take charge of their health and well-being. We're proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to staying informed!

Placida Mequiabas National High School joins the world in celebrating 2025 Global Handwashing Day today, October 15, 2025!Anchored on the theme “Be a Handwashing Hero,” the event kicked off with a demonstration on proper handwashing led by School Nurse, Maelene B. Tuastumban and PMNHS GSP Patrol Leaders. Learners also enjoyed answering fun questions about handwashing with the GSP teachers and Barangay Lapinig Health workers. Let's all continue to be Handwashing Heroes --keeping our hands clean and our community healthy!
