NBDB’s The Book Nook Project is now accepting applications! Be a part of our growing network of reading and storytelling spaces across the country. Book Nook Sites provide an inclusive and comfortable space where readers can access quality books from Filipino authors.

We accept all applications from DepEd schools, local government units and agencies, civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, corporate foundations, and private learning institutions. You may send your applications through: https://bit.ly/BN26Application

🌟 Four Days of Learning: Kapangan’s Successful Youth Outreach 🌟
The LGU-Kapangan thru Kapangan Municipal Library and Information Center, in collaboration with the DICT-CAR, completed a highly impactful two-part educational outreach program this October!

Phase 1 (Oct. 14-15): 28 enthusiastic children at Cuba Elementary School participated in the "Storytelling, Arts and Crafts Workshop," which expertly blended traditional fun (painting, storytelling) with an introduction to computer fundamentals and Microsoft Office.

Phase 2 (Oct. 16-17): The initiative expanded to Longboy Elementary School for a focused Digital Literacy (Basic Computer Literacy) training, expanding access to crucial tech knowledge.

The overall initiative successfully fulfilled the Library's mission by fostering a strong culture of reading, creativity, and digital readiness through fun, relevant, and engaging learning experiences.

Thank you to the participants, the schools, teachers, barangays and the lgu employees and volunteers for helping us foster a strong culture of reading, creativity, and digital readiness in Kapangan!

The LGU-Kapangan headed by Municipal Mayor Harris M. Dizon extends its deepest gratitude to the DICT-CAR and in collaboration with schools Cuba Elementary School and Longboy Elementary School. Your support was instrumental in making this important initiative possible!
