The Malacaรฑang Palace, through Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, has declared Monday, August 31, 2026, as a regular holiday nationwide in observance of National Heroes Day.

KCAST joins the nation in honoring the brave men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and dedication helped shape our history and strengthen our nation.

National Heroes Day reminds us that heroism is not only found in the pages of history. It continues in every act of courage, integrity, compassion, and service to others. May we carry forward the legacy of our heroes by continuing to learn with purpose, serve with commitment, and lead with integrity for the betterment of our communities and the nation.

The discussion focused on the importance of Artificial Insemination (AI) in small ruminant production, particularly in genetic improvement, reproductive management, and animal productivity.

Students gained practical knowledge and a better understanding of modern breeding techniques that they can apply as future Animal Science professionals.
