𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾: 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐀𝐭 𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞

In collaboration with the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), the Leyte Reforestation Project (LRP) conducted a Speaking Engagement focused on Climate Change Mitigation and Environmental Awareness, that gathered the student leaders from various organizations and clubs, including the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Druga (BKD), WINS, Ecolikha, and the School Watching Team, along with the faculty advisors of the said organizations and clubs, and our beloved school head, Mrs. Ma. Teresa R. Alcones. The event was conducted at the Bread and Pastry Laboratory, in Lim-ao National Highschool (LNHS), on the 23rd day of February.

‎ The said program was intended to equip and acknowledge the student leaders with enough information about the importance of our environment and reforestation. The event was held successfully with the help of the community partners from LRP Mr. Edgardo F. Bugarin, II, the LRP project manager and, Mr. Jeffrey James Karwoski, the executive director of Reforest Our Future and a professional arborist.

Witness the dedication of The Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) officers in their contribution to the tree planting activity conducted by the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), that was implemented earlier at exactly six o'clock in the morning. The activity was situated in Sitio Kasidlakan, Brgy. Lim-ao, Kananga, Leyte.

We are honored to be a part of the said activity, because even simple actions can bring an impactful outcome to our environment. Together let's grow hope, one tree at a time for a more greener future, and sustainable environment.🌱🍃

That is why, The Youth for Environment in School Organization (YES-O) launched a Project HANDOG, which aims to provide essential school supplies to students who are in needs. This event was made possible, through the YES-O Income Generating Project (Project INUM).

We are truly grateful, for the opportunity to provide for their necessities, and we are looking forward to more projects like this, bringing assistance to even more students who require it.🏫🎒
