Through prayer, catechesis, and fellowship, we honored Mama Mary and shared with the children the beauty of this cherished tradition.

𝐅𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐒 𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎 🌸🤍

On May 29, 2026, RYM — Cebu took part in the Flores de Mayo celebration at the Gonzales Community Chapel.

As part of the activity, the youth facilitated a simple catechesis for the children, sharing about Mama Mary and the significance of Flores de Mayo as a beautiful tradition of honoring our Blessed Mother through prayers, devotion, and the offering of flowers.

It was a meaningful opportunity to help the children deepen their understanding of Mary's role in our faith and to encourage them to follow her example of love, humility, and obedience to God.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Gonzales Community, especially to the community leader, for their warm welcome, guidance, and unwavering support throughout the activity. Your dedication and active involvement helped make this activity both meaningful and fruitful.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary continue to guide our communities and inspire us to grow in faith, service, and love for one another.

𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝙂𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮

On May 29, 2026, RYM — Cebu continued its 12th Icon Mission held at the home of the Gulayan Family.

A strong family is built on love, unity, and shared values. During the sharing, Mrs. Gulayan expressed that her greatest happiness comes from seeing her children united and supportive of one another.

Mr. Gulayan also shared how he has worked hard to raise and discipline their children to grow with a deep fear of God and respect for their parents. Through their guidance, faith, and dedication, they continue to nurture a family grounded in love, respect, and Christian values.

Their story serves as a reminder that a family that remains united in faith and love can overcome life's challenges together.

May this Icon Mission inspire us to strengthen our family relationships, uphold Christian values, and continue trusting in God's guidance in our homes.

On May 28, 2026, RYM — Cebu continued its 11th Icon Mission held at the home of the Abarquez Family.

A mother’s love and sacrifices are truly immeasurable. During the sharing, Mrs. Lucy Abarquez shared how fervently she prayed for her children to persevere through life’s challenges. Through her unwavering faith in God, hard work, and determination, she was able to raise and guide her children despite the difficulties they encountered along the way.

Her story became a beautiful reminder that with faith, perseverance, and a mother’s unconditional love, no struggle is impossible to overcome.

May this Icon Mission continue to inspire us to trust in God’s plans and to value the love and sacrifices of our families. 🙏✨
