The Redemptorist Youth Ministry β€” Cebu Parish held a Safeguarding Seminar to deepen our awareness and understanding of our shared responsibility in creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for everyone.

Through this meaningful session, we were reminded that safeguarding is not only a responsibility but also an expression of our care, respect, and commitment to one another.

May what we have learned continue to guide us in building a ministry where everyone feels safe, valued, heard, and protected.

𝑨 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒕. 𝑨 π‘»π’Šπ’Žπ’† 𝒕𝒐 π‘Ήπ’†π’π’†π’˜.

Sometimes, the most meaningful moments in ministry are found not in the busyness of serving, but in taking time to pause, rest, and simply be present with one another.

Last July 18–19, the Redemptorist Youth Ministry β€” Cebu Parish spent two meaningful days in Oslob for our OASISβ€”a time to deepen our bond as one ministry while embracing the gift of rest, joy, and fellowship. Through shared meals, conversations, laughter, and quiet moments together, we were reminded that strong communities are built not only through service but also through genuine relationships.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Philip and Sr. Maricel for making this experience possible. Thank you for generously giving us this opportunity to step away from our usual routines, to recharge, and to simply enjoy each other's company. Your thoughtfulness, generosity, and every effort you poured into this gathering truly made us feel cared for and appreciated.

As we return to our respective duties, may we continue to serve with renewed hearts, strengthened friendships, and a deeper commitment to Christ and to one another.
