The Aklan Kasapulanan Young Adult Community (AKYAC) recently gathered for a blessed time of fellowship after the worship service at Boracay Christian Church. While our numbers may be small right now, our hearts are full, and our doors are wide open!

If you are a member under the umbrella of the Aklan Kasapulanan of Baptist Churches (AKBC), we warmly invite you to make Boracay Christian Church your spiritual home away from home while you are on the island. Come and be part of our growing family as we lift our praises together!

Had the incredible blessing and opportunity to meet, dine, and talk with Sir Joven, the owner of Oasis Resort and Spa here in Boracay! 🌴✨

Sitting down with him and hearing his heart for the local community was truly unforgettable. Beyond running a beautiful, peaceful resort, Sir Joven and his wife Anita operate their property under a Christian ministry called 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆. They use a portion of the resort's proceeds to directly fund local healthcare, emergency aid, and life-changing education programs for underprivileged village children.

Here is a glimpse of the amazing work they do:
📚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 & 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨: purchase essential books, uniforms, and learning materials so local children have everything they need to start school.
🎓 𝙏𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 & 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨: They walk alongside these youth long-term, sponsoring them from primary school all the way through higher university degrees to help them build a brighter future.
🍲 𝙉𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩: They run an active school outreach feeding program, cooking and providing hot, nutritious meals so village schoolchildren can learn without hunger.

To God be all the glory! 🙌❤️

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the successful Outreach & Evangelistic Rally held at Naasug Covered Court, Malay, Aklan last July 4, 2026.

What a joyful afternoon it was! The venue was filled with the laughter of children enjoying fun games, exciting prizes, meaningful fellowship, and a shared meal. More importantly, families and community members gathered to hear the life-changing message of God's love and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We praise God for every volunteer, church worker, donor, and participant who generously gave their time, effort, resources, and prayers. Your support made this ministry possible.

Our prayer is that the seeds of God's Word planted in every heart will continue to grow and bear fruit for His glory.

Thank you, AKYAC and AKBC-Circuit D, all partner churches, and everyone who joined us. May God continue to use us to reach more lives and transform more communities.

The Convention Baptist Young Adult Fellowship of the Philippines (CBYAFP) joyfully gathered for its 31st National Campference at Marzon Hotel, Kalibo, Aklan, last May 13-15 with the inspiring theme “Trusting God for the Journey Ahead.” This annual gathering brought together young adults from different churches and communities, united in faith, fellowship, and service. With hearts full of anticipation, participants engaged in worship, learning, and meaningful conversations that strengthened their commitment to walk faithfully with Christ in the seasons to come.

The campference was not only a time of spiritual renewal but also a celebration of unity and shared purpose. Through sessions, activities, and moments of prayer, attendees were reminded of God’s unfailing guidance as they face the challenges and opportunities of the future. Truly, the 31st CBYAFP Campference became a milestone of encouragement and empowerment, equipping young adults to continue their journey with steadfast trust in the Lord.

Behind every smile in this photo is a story of hope, resilience, and generosity. AKYAC is more than a ministry—it is a movement of compassion, born out of Ellen Mae’s journey through major spinal surgery and the challenges that followed.

Her family’s unwavering care and devotion inspire us all. They show us that love is strongest when tested, and that true compassion is lived out daily in sacrifice and service.

“𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑬𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒆”

𝑬𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒐 𝑪𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒔, a vibrant young woman from Calizo Norte Baptist Church and AKBYFU, has always been known for her joyful spirit and active service to others. Last year, she bravely underwent two major spinal surgeries due to a spinal mass — a battle that left her bedridden and facing immense physical, emotional, and financial challenges.

Despite the pain and fatigue, Ellen Mae continues to hold onto faith and hope. Her courage reminds us that even in the hardest seasons, God’s grace shines through the support of His people.

We are reaching out to friends, church members, and kind-hearted individuals to help lighten Ellen Mae’s burden. Your generosity — whether through financial assistance, prayers, or words of encouragement — will go a long way in sustaining her recovery journey and easing the strain on her family.

As part of our bi-monthly activity, let’s come together on 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 12, 1𝐩𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 and proceed afterward to Calizo Norte, to remind Ellen Mae that she is not alone. Every contribution, no matter how small, is a seed of hope that helps her stand stronger each day.

AKYAC recently gathered for a joyful photo opportunity following our seminar on 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮. The event brought together members united by a shared passion for living generously and building a community rooted in Kingdom values. With smiles, raised booklets, and a spirit of camaraderie, the photo captures not just a moment but a milestone in our collective journey—an affirmation of our commitment to learning, growing, and inspiring one another in radical generosity.
