๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐ โ The Association of Civil Engineering Students (ACES) conducted the BSCE Freshman Orientation on September 3, 2026, at the ASU Audio-Visual Room, welcoming incoming Civil Engineering students and introducing them to the BSCE program, its curriculum, faculty, and various university services. The program was formally opened by Engr. Boysie T. Tejada, in place of CEA Dean Engr. Niel Samuel G. Samson.
The orientation featured multimedia and video presentations, along with discussions from office heads and representatives on the services available to students. These included the Office of Student Affairs and Services, Registrar, Scholarship and Financial Assistance, Library, Clinic, Guidance and Counseling, Safety and Security, Cafeteria, and ACES, giving freshmen an overview of how they can access support throughout their college journey.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Engr. Churchill F. Ismael, BSCE Coordinator specializing in Structural Engineering, followed by a photo opportunity with the faculty, speakers, and Masters of the Ceremony. Through the orientation, ACES and the College of Engineering and Architecture aimed to equip freshmen with essential information as they begin their journey toward becoming future civil engineers.
