Su***de is a major public health challenge, with over 700,000 lives lost each year globally. Each death leaves deep social, emotional, and economic scars, affecting individuals, families, and communities.

From 2024 to 2026, the triennial theme for World Su***de Prevention Day is "Changing the Narrative on Su***de" with a powerful call to action: "Start the Conversation." It’s time to shift from silence and stigma to openness and understanding. Every conversation has the potential to save a life.

Dilangalen National High School is committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging open discussions. Let’s stand together to foster an environment where every student feels heard, valued, and supported. Remember, it's okay to ask for help. 💚

Our Lusog Isip Ng Kabataan Club serves as a bridge between students, staff, and the broader community. Through various initiatives and events, the club aims to promote understanding, collaboration, and support for mental health.

On August 27, 2024, our newly elected officers of the Lusog Isip Ng Kabataan (LINK) Club took an oath of office.

This new leaders pledge to serve our school community with honesty and diligence was encouraging. It is really admirable how passionate and enthusiastic they are about having a positive impact!

On August 16, 2024, students were gathered for a mandatory meeting for the Elected Presidents of each classroom, organized by the club under the direction of our devoted Guidance Counselor III, Mrs. Maria Mariem Cabais, and the recently elected LINK President, Jeff Torres. Our LINK members' dedication to “Makighiusa para sa kabatan-unan sang DNHS” makes us really proud.

A crucial gathering at Dilangalen National High School, the session focused on mapping out upcoming activities with the primary goal of advocating for the mental wellness of the students. Under the guidance of LINK adviser, Maria Arriem C. Cabais, Guidance Counselor III, and the LINK co-adviser, Ma. Theresa S. Legurpa, a respected Guidance Counselor II, played a pivotal role in steering the discussions towards impactful initiatives. The commitment to mental wellness shone through as the LINK Club members passionately discussed strategies and potential project, aiming to create an environment that fosters not just academic growth but holistic well-being.
