Today, we celebrate not only another year of your life, but also the person behind the title—someone who continues to show up, carry responsibilities, and give his time and energy for others. Being a president is more than having a position; it means carrying the hopes, concerns, and trust of the people you serve. And we hope you know that your efforts, even the ones that often go unnoticed, are appreciated.

As you step into another year, may you never lose the part of yourself that makes your leadership genuine. May you have the courage to lead when things get difficult, the patience to listen when things get complicated, and the humility to remember why you started serving in the first place.

𝐍𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The GAD Allies Organization of Central Philippine State University–Main Campus joined the Negrense Youth Convergence 2026 in collaboration of HBONI held at Clemente Sports Complex, CPSU Main Campus, under the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations.”

With speakers sharing their knowledge and perspectives on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the convergence gave us a closer look at the issues that extend beyond the classroom—from quality education and responsible consumption to climate action, social inclusion, and the many challenges that communities continue to face.

More than learning what each goal represents, the discussions encouraged us to look at the role we play in achieving them. The SDGs may be global goals, but the change they call for can begin in the places where we study, live, and interact every day.

For GAD Allies, this gathering was an opportunity to listen, learn, and see familiar issues from different perspectives. Because sometimes, understanding a problem is the first step toward becoming part of its solution.

We came together with one heart and one clear goal, to grow stronger and stay united.

We may come from different departments, but we share the same passion, to lead with all our hearts, and to make our fellow students feel that they are treated fairly, respected, and given a chance to shine. We do not just wish for good things to happen, we work for them, hand in hand.

This 𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀 was more than just talking. It showed that when we come together with willing hearts, great things happen. We move forward not alone, but as one organization — united, ready, and proud to serve.

The 𝐆𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 successfully conducted its meeting last Thursday, July 2, 2026, to discuss important plans and initiatives for the upcoming academic year. The agenda included the preparation for the Welcome Rites for First-Year Students, the Calendar of Activities, and other organizational matters.

Through collaboration and shared ideas, the organization continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting gender and development initiatives while ensuring a meaningful and productive year ahead.✨
