Last Saturday, October 3, 2026, our PYAP officers took the lead in conducting a meaningful Feeding Program, bringing our community together for a day filled with good food, bright smiles, and heartwarming connections. It was inspiring to see our local residents, especially the youth, come out to participate, share a meal, and enjoy the positive energy.

‎We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Punong Barangay Hon. Josephine P. Talatala together with her Brgy. Councils, our PYAP Focal Ma'am Jelme Grace Guarin and PYAP officers headed by PYAP President Chrezel Joy B. Perocho together with her officers, volunteers, and community members whose active involvement made this program both impactful and memorable.

‎Cluster 4’s Candidates for Mr. and Ms. PYAP 2026, Mr. Justin Ramos (Brgy. 4) and Ms. Shakerah Perocho (Brgy. Camugao) conquered the stage with confidence, beauty, and pride!

‎On the 1st day of the PYAP Anniversary’s Celebration, the Search for Mr. & Ms. PYAP 2026 was held within the Evacom at exactly 7:30pm.
‎
‎ As the program started, Cluster 4 showed their full support with their cheers and their presence to hype up and motivate their candidates throughout the entire competition. The venue echoed with the loud energy of Cluster 4 as youth members and leaders united, waving banners and cheering every time their representatives took the stage—showing their full supports towards our candidates. From the opening production numbers to the intense question-and-answer portion, their unwavering spirit helped in boosting and maintaining the confidence of the candidates (No.6). Their overwhelming presence didn't just simply filled the hall with noise—it brought a strong sense of unity, pride, and youth empowerment, officially setting an unforgettable tone for the rest of the anniversary celebration and helped the Candidates conquer the stage as well as taking home the crown for Mr. and Ms. PYAP 2026.

The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) celebrated its 52nd anniversary at Evacom, Brgy. 4, Kabankalan City, August 21, 2026 with the theme: Beyond the Game, Beyond the Limits: Pioneering Youth in Action & Purpose Sustaining the Flame: Institutionalizing Empowered Leadership, Strengthening Governance, and Advancing Development Pathways for a Future Ready "PYAP-AKO". The gathering had a clear purpose; honoring the organization's history of youth empowerment—fostering stronger solidarity, cooperation, and unity among the different barangays across Kabankalan City.

​Throughout the celebration, young leaders and community members participated in activities designed to build strong bonds and highlight the vital role of the youth in local governance and community development. By bringing together representatives from different barangays, the event reinforced PYAP’s ongoing commitment to leadership, youth engagement, and social responsibility within the city.

We express our gratitude to our City Mayor, Hon. Benjie M. Miranda, and our City Vice Mayor Hon. Divina Gracia S. Miranda, and the SP's, for their strong leadership and continued commitment to empowering Kabankalan’s next generation. We are also thankfull to our inspiring guest speakers, Ma'am Yvonne Suarez, the RGC Mental Wellness advocate, for sharing her knowledge, personal journeys, and practical insights, their guidance has given our youth a clearer understanding of how to lead with integrity and step up as responsible members of society.

We also like to recognize and give our heartfelt gratitude to our Punong Barangay Hon. Josephine P. Talatala, the Brgy Councils, SK's of Brgy Camugao headed by Sk Chairwoman Hon. Marvelynn Faith Parreño, Officers of PYAP Brgy. Camugao Chapter headed by our President Chrezel Joy B. Perocho together with her officers, our driver, and as well as the PYAP members who participated this annual event. With their presence, the event was a success and became more meaningful.

The PYAP Officers of Brgy. Camugao, namely Girlie Mallosa and Mae Ann Perocho, alongside fellow PYAP leaders from different barangays of Kabankalan City, proudly participated in the Global Youth Summit 2026 held at SM Skyhall.

The summit brought together young leaders from across the Negros Island Region (NIR), highlighting the important responsibility of the youth in becoming active, responsible, and compassionate leaders in their communities. It served as a meaningful platform to connect, learn, and share ideas on how young people can contribute to building a better and more sustainable future.

The discussions focused on important issues such as physical and mental health and well-being, the development of sustainable cities and communities, and the preservation and protection of our environment and cultural heritage. These conversations reminded us that youth leadership goes beyond holding a position—it is about understanding our responsibilities, taking action, and inspiring others to create meaningful change.

A truly empowering experience for young leaders who continue to step forward, lead with purpose, and become voices of positive change across the Negros Island Region.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of The Philippines (PYAP) will celebrate its Anniversary this upcoming August 21-22, 2026 at EVACOM, Kabankalan City with the duration of 2 days. The needed materials such as tents and folding beds are provided as well as the security. We are inviting the youth residents of Brgy. Camugao in order to make this celebration more meaningful and unforgettable. This event isn't just about celebrating PYAP’s anniversary, it is about promoting unity between us youths.

For those who are interested, here are the important informations you don't wanna miss!

- 6:00am to 7:00am: Arrival (call time)
- 7:00am to 8:00am: Registration
- 8:00am to 9:00am: Caravan
• From Teen Center-Kcc-Jollibee-Gaisano-Brgy. 9-8-7 Gwa Sa 7 Eleven Going to Evacom.
• Need Service, So After Arriving Tell Your Driver to Stay for The Caravan
• Those Chapter with Close Service, Will Ask to Join the Other Chapter.
• Drums for Caravan is provided

For scholars enrolled in both public and private schools (refers to old scholar)

The Kabankalan City Gender and Development (GAD) Office announces the official list of compliance documents and schedules for the 2026 GAD Scholarship Renewal. All qualified scholars are required to submit complete requirements on or before their assigned schedule to continue receiving scholarship benefits for the incoming school year.
