PUBLIC ADVISORY: SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS & SCHEDULE FOR GAD SCHOLARSHIP RENEWAL

📢 ATTENTION TO ALL GAD SCHOLARS!
For scholars enrolled in both public and private schools (refers to old scholar)

The Kabankalan City Gender and Development (GAD) Office announces the official list of compliance documents and schedules for the 2026 GAD Scholarship Renewal. All qualified scholars are required to submit complete requirements on or before their assigned schedule to continue receiving scholarship benefits for the incoming school year.

The PYAP officers of Brgy. Camugao participated in the Adolescence/Youth and Development Program, a skill training on Table Skirting, Table Napkin Artistry and Dining Etiquette. This training not only serves as an example of learning but the knowledge and skills the participants gain.

With hands full of skills, courage, and confidence. Delegates from different Barangays shows its artistry and aesthetic in the making. With our keynote Trainer, Ms. Rogie Rose R. Bandola, her knowledge and experience highlights on how the delegates learn and understand the importance of the program. To add with, a symposium about Drug Symposium tackled by officials of Police department in Kabankalan City, also adding to the essence of the program.

Where awareness meets influence and influences speaks for truth.

Let's continue to grow with camaraderie, respect, and dignity to one another.

✨ Barangay Camugao PYAP General Assembly, Induction Ceremony, Teenage Pregnancy Symposium & PYAP Orientation 2026 ✨

A meaningful day of leadership, learning, and community empowerment was successfully held in Barangay Camugao.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to SP Member Pastor John Antolo for leading the induction ceremony on behalf of Hon. Mayor Benjie Miranda and for sharing his support and encouragement with our newly elected PYAP, Solo Parent, and ERPAT Officers.

We also sincerely thank Mr. Jose Argus, Executive Assistant to the Vice Mayor, for representing Vice Mayor Divina Superal Miranda. Our appreciation also goes to the Solo Parent Officers led by Evelyn Perocho, the ERPAT Officers led by Sunny Bancal, Mr. Eldie Arsenal (ERPAT Focal Person), Ms. Baby Kitt Mallosa (CSWD/Solo Parent Staff), and Ms. Edna Semillion (CSWD/Women and Solo Parent Staff) for their presence and valuable contributions to the success of the event.

Special thanks as well to Ms. Jelme Lacson for generously providing school supplies to support and inspire our youth.

Our deepest appreciation goes to our dedicated Barangay Officials, headed by Punong Barangay Josephine Talatala, together with the Barangay Kagawads, for their unwavering commitment to youth development and community service.

The event was further enriched through the Teenage Pregnancy Symposium led by Ms. Ruthie Joy Vigno and PYAP Orientation, which provided valuable knowledge, guidance, and inspiration to our young people as they continue to become responsible, empowered, and active members of society.

Congratulations to all newly inducted officers! May you lead with integrity, dedication, and a genuine passion for serving the community.

The Camugao Elementary School Brigade succesfully concluded this June 3, 2026. Together with the PYAP officers, members, as well as with the hand of SK officials headed by our Barangay Captain Josephine Talatala. It marks the fresh beginning of learning, camaraderie, and the will to help and uplift the school environment.

With this goal driven move, the teachers, students, parents, and peers are given the time not just to clean but to socialize and be a better youth member of the community but to openly care with open arms.

Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have finally paid off. Mae Ann, graduated as a Cum Laude in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino while serving as our PYAP Treasurer, and Rhea Jane, earning your degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology as our PYAP Business Manager, truly inspires us all.

May this achievement be the beginning of greater opportunities and success in your future endeavors. Your PYAP family is proud of the leaders and individuals you have become. Continue to inspire, lead, and uplift others wherever life may take you.

The Barangay successfully conducted a “Parents Symposium/Lecture on Drug Awareness and Domestic Violence Prevention” focusing on Republic Act No. 9262 or the “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004” and Republic Act No. 9165 or the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.”

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our guest speaker, PMSG Joseph Ian Alcala, for sharing valuable knowledge and raising awareness within the community. We also thank Hon. Josephine Talatala, the Barangay Council, and the PYAP officers and members for their support, cooperation, and active participation in promoting a safer, drug-free, and violence-free community.

The PYAP Officers of Brgy. Camugao successfully conducted a recruitment drive for new members this May 2, 2026 at the Camugao and Sonedco Covered Court.

We sincerely thank our Punong Barangay, Hon. Josephine Talatala, together with the Barangay Kagawad, and with the help of SK Council for their support in making this activity possible and successful. Through this initiative, many youth were given the opportunity to join and be part of PYAP’s programs and activities.
