Gold Gallantry and Heroism Award | When “Duty to Others” called, courage answered. Today, that courage is forever etched in the history of Philippine Scouting. Congratulations to Scout Rexiel Joaquin C. Mangliwan, recipient of the Gold Gallantry and Heroism Award (also referred to as the Gold Medal of Honor for Gallantry and Heroism), the highest award for bravery of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, conferred during a Special Court of Honor, chaired by National President Atty. Emilio Aquino and attended by Secretary General Atty. Cedrick Train, in the presence of the members of the National Executive Board.

This same medal was also recently awarded to Scout Chris Lorenz T. Fabian, the hero of Tacloban.

The entire ULS-USM Square Knot Circle Organization, together with the ULS and USM family, proudly celebrates this remarkable milestone and is immensely proud of you, Scout Mangliwan. Your courage, selflessness, and unwavering commitment to the Scout Oath and Law continue to inspire us all.

2026 ESTC Batch Bagwis.. Corps Commander...

Isang 16-anyos na Boy Scout mula sa Kabacan, Cotabato ang kinilala matapos mailigtas ang buhay ng isang nalunod na lalaki sa isang resort noong July 12.

Agad na nagsagawa si Scout Rexel Joaquin Codilla Mangliwan ng CPR gamit ang mga kasanayang natutunan niya sa Boy Scouts of the Philippines Emergency Service Training Course, hanggang sa magkamalay ang biktima bago ito isinugod sa ospital.

Ayon sa BSP, ipinakita ni Scout Rexel ang kahalagahan ng pagiging handa sa oras ng sakuna, na nagpapatunay sa diwa ng kasabihang: "A Scout is Prepared. A Scout Saves Lives."

Always Ready to Serve: Scouts Participate in Brigada Eskwela 2026

Scouts from the ULS-USM Square Knot Circle actively participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Kabacan Pilot Elementary School, Kilagasan Elementary School, Datu Pedtamanan Elementary School, and Lumayong Elementary School. Demonstrating the true spirit of Scouting, they volunteered their time, skills, and effort to help prepare the schools for the opening of classes.

Guided by the Scout Oath and Law, the scouts took part in various activities, including painting classroom walls, chairs, benches, and exterior school walls, cleaning school grounds and facilities, and assisting teachers, staff, and community members throughout the activity. Through teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to service, they worked alongside fellow volunteers to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming learning environment for students.

The participation of the ULS Square Knot Circle in Brigada Eskwela reflects the values of leadership, responsibility, and community service that Scouting promotes. By answering the call to serve, the scouts continue to live out the Scout motto of being "Always Ready", making a positive impact in their schools and communities through meaningful acts of service.

The ULS-SKC is proud to announce that two scouts are currently in Agusan del Sur to represent Region XII in archery at the Palarong Pambansa. Sct. Jhan Pierre Guzman and Sct. General Marc Bangoy, ESC, have consistently shown excellence, discipline, and dedication in the field of archery. Through countless hours of training, perseverance, and hard work, they have earned the opportunity to compete and represent not only ULS-USM, but also Kabacan and the whole Region XII on a national stage.

Their achievement is a testament to their commitment and passion for the sport, and the entire ULS-USM community takes great pride in their success. As they face this important competition, always remember that the whole region is here to support and cheer for you every step of the way. Pagpupunyagi at pagpupugay sa inyong gabay at husay, ULS-SKC Officers for Academic Year 2025-2026!

Walang naging madali ang taong ating pinagsamahan, ngunit, walang naging mahirap dahil hindi kayo naging nagpabaya sa organisasyon sa pagiging responsable, pagseserbisyo ng may dedikasyon, may pagmamahal at walang sawang pagsisikap.

Ang pagmamahal sa organisasyon hindi dahil sa tungkulin bagkus, ay mula sa inyong pagnanais na mas mapalakas pa ang sektor ng Kabataan sa kakayahang pisikal, intelektwal, matutong mahalin ang bolunterismo, maging serbisyo-publiko para sa lahat, maging mabuting anak at kapatid at iskawt na may malsakit sa kapwa, para sa Diyos, sa bayan at bansa.

Saludo kami sa inyong tapang at husay na bumuo’t humubog sa aming tatag, tibay ng loob at nagpamahal sa amin sa Iskawting. Hindi niyo kami binigo sa tunay na depinisyon ng organisasyon, ANG KAHUSAYAN, SERBISYO AT LEGASIYA.

Pasasalamat at Pagpupugay sa inyo!

Sa aming mga naging gabay at liwanag, hindi namin mararating ang bawat yugto na nagmulat sa amin sa katotohanan ng buhay, saya kasama ang mga taong iba man ang linggwahe’t relihiyon, paniniwala at kultura - kami, tayo ay nagkaisa.

Sa mga hamong magkakasama nating pinagtagumpayan; salamat sa bawat payo, salamat sa pagserbisyo nang walang sawa’t pag-aalinlangan, sa pagtiwala nang walang duda at paghubog sa amin bilang isang kapatid, Kabataan at may mahalagang gampaning parte ng lipunan.
