We started with brainstorming, initially choosing mangroves as our topic. However, doubts crept inโwe questioned its relevance, its impact on the community, and our ability to handle such a subject. This uncertainty led us to explore various alternatives, from studying virus transmission rates to water contamination and even security systems. Yet, in the end, we found ourselves returning to our very first choiceโmangroves.
Throughout the process, we faced moments of frustration and nearly gave up, considering entirely different studies like a fashion style app or a sign language app. But nothing felt right. It was as if something kept pulling us back to the mangroves. One day, we found ourselves standing in the middle of a mangrove forest, captivated by its beauty, realizing that this was where we truly belonged.
The struggles didnโt end there. We faced criticism that made us question whether our study was truly worthwhile. But despite the doubts and setbacks, we pushed forward, determined to showcase how our project could make a difference.

Looking back, we were tested from the very beginning, enduring sleepless nights before our DSTF defense, yet we pushed through. Then came the worstโRSTFโwhere our PowerPoint presentation malfunctioned during our turn, leaving us in complete panic, unable to present properly. At that moment, we thought our journey would end there, and qualifying for NSTF felt impossible. But by Godโs grace, we made it through.
When NSTF finally arrived, we felt fulfilled, knowing we had the honor of representing our school and the entire Region V at the national level. Our goal was simpleโto be among the top three projects in our category. With 16 incredible projects from different regions, each with its own uniqueness, the competition was tough. But what happened next was beyond anything we had imagined. We never expected God to open such a massive door for usโone so overwhelming that we struggled to even process His blessings.
