April is Autism Awareness Month!

In line with the celebration of JCI Week, JCI Jiabong proudly stands in support of Autism Awareness—an advocacy close to our hearts.

Join us as we ignite our advocacy on Autism Awareness through our fundraising event “Tahongan: Snack Hub, Snack Love” which will be launched tomorrow April 8, 2025 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the Jiabong Municipal Covered Court. The said campaign will highlight the crucial role of acceptance and awareness towards inclusivity of those who are on the spectrum.

We believe in creating a more inclusive world by empowering individuals on the spectrum, embracing their unique abilities, and spreading understanding in every community we serve.

Together, let’s light the way with compassion, acceptance, and action.

We are bringing back your ultimate craving!

JCI Jiabong Tahongan Snack Hub—where every bite brings you closer to the heart of our hometown, Jiabong!

As we celebrate the JCI Week, we are bringing you your favorite treat. Join us on our opening on April 8, 2025 (Tuesday) at the Jiabong Municipal Covered Court. We will be serving our famous local delicacies and snacks like baduyang tahong, baduyang pasayan, lumpiang tahong and many more.

We will make it even more exciting as we have partnered with Grainsmart Jiabong, your favorite milktea shop in town. What a perfect pair for your afternoon and night cravings.

Also, don’t miss our special treat tomorrow as we will be inviting a local singer to serenade you while enjoying your snacks.

Enjoy your favorite treats while making a difference—a portion of every purchase goes to support children with autism.

Our stall opens from 3pm until midnight

Juana join our campaign on Women’s Health and Wellness? Juana be fit and be back in shape? Join us as we kick-off the National Women’s Month through “JUANA ZUMBA”;
A project under JCI PinayPower that aims to enhance women's health and wellness by initiating a fitness drive through a month-long zumba session.

Opening will take place at the Jiabong Municipal Covered Court on March 3, 2025 at 5 o’clock in the morning. Calling all zumba and fitness enthusiast to join us in this campaign. The schedule of the sessions will be announced during the opening.

This is in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Jiabong and its agencies. Headed by our Municipal Mayor Julie Uy Cereno and Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Jocelyn Uy De Jesus together with the rest of the SB members.

Whether you are a beginner or a professional, you are perfect to take part on this. Admission is free during the first session. So what are you waiting? Let’s Zumba!

Celebrating Our Future Leaders! 🌟🎓

On October 15, 2024, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Jiabong, in coordination with JCI Philippines and the Department of Education, proudly hosted the Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA). This prestigious event recognized 20 exceptional students from various schools in Jiabong, Samar, for their outstanding academic achievements and remarkable leadership qualities. The ceremony took place during the Jiabong Uswag Check (JUC) 26th Founding Anniversary at the Jiabong Municipal Covered Court, bringing together educators, community leaders, and families to honor these inspiring young individuals. Each awardee exemplifies dedication, resilience, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities.

The YLEA aims to encourage youth to pursue excellence not just in academics but also in leadership and service. We believe that nurturing these qualities in young leaders will pave the way for a brighter future for Jiabong and beyond.

🌱Together for a Greener Tomorrow!🌿🌏

In a united effort to promote environmental sustainability, JCI Jiabong, in collaboration with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO), the Jiabong LGU, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), the Philippine National Police (PNP), and the Jiabong Emergency Response Team (JERT) participated in a mangrove planting activity held early this morning September 27, 2024 at the Mangrove site in Brgy. Maligaya, Jiabong Samar as part of the of JCI Philippines. This initiative aims to restore and protect our coastal ecosystems by planting mangroves, which play a vital role in reducing coastal erosion, enhancing biodiversity, and mitigating climate change.

Together, we are taking significant steps toward a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.

JCI Jiabong graced the red carpet during the 44th JCIP Visayas Area Convention held in Tagbilaran, Bohol last September 6-8, 2024.
Celebrating the milestone of the present JCI administration of all chapters in the entire Visayas region. Honoring the relentless commitment, dedication, and excellence of all JCI Area 4 chapters towards bringing positive change in the society.
