"Representing Jasaan in Miss Kuyamis 2025 was more than a title; it was a journey of self-discovery. It strengthened my confidence by allowing me to fully embrace who I am as a Filipina: resilient, passionate, and purpose-driven. Through every challenge, I learned that true power does not come from fitting into a mold, but from embracing authenticity. By standing firm in my advocacy and using my voice, I discovered that inner strength grows when you honor your story and believe in your worth.
I may not fit the usual standards often seen in beauty pageants, but that realization became one of my greatest sources of empowerment. It taught me that beauty is diverse and that representation matters. I hope to inspire every woman to love her body, embrace her abilities, and believe in herself unapologetically. Confidence is not about comparison; it is about acceptance and growth.
I connect this personal empowerment to the 2026 theme, โWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society,โ because empowerment is never just about one woman; it is about all of us. Women are more than the limited roles society sometimes assigns to us. We are leaders, innovators, caregivers, visionaries, and changemakers. When one woman rises with courage and purpose, she gives others permission to rise too.
By living authentically and leading with intention, I hope to show that women are bound for more. We can become whoever we aspire to be when we believe in ourselves and uplift one another. Because when we stand together, we are strong, confident, and united.
