Work immersion students from Teofilo Macaso National High School, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Jaro, Leyte, participated in the Orientation on Teen Center Operations, Peer Guidance, and Adolescent Sexual Health Awareness (STIs, HIV & AIDS, and Teenage Pregnancy) held at the Jaro Teen Center.
The session was designed to deepen their understanding of key adolescent concerns while providing practical knowledge on youth support systems, responsible choices, and community involvement. Beyond simply sharing information, the activity created a constructive environment where students could openly discuss relevant issues, broaden their perspectives, and strengthen their sense of responsibility as young individuals.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the following for their invaluable support and collaboration:
โข Municipal Mayor โ Hon. Jassie Lou Taรฑala
โข SK Federation President โ Hon. Vianca Mae N. Familar
โข LYDO Designate โ Jay Marie S. Aรฑover
โข Rachelle B. Laurente โ Nurse, HEPO/MESO Designate
โข HRMO โ Thelma B. Arguilles
โข Teen Center/LYDO Staff โ Aljon C. Sorila, Marianita L. Garrido, and Joseph A. Villena
Through this initiative, participants were encouraged to become more aware, compassionate, and proactiveโqualities essential in building a healthier and more informed generation.
To the work immersion students, may the knowledge and experiences you have gained from this orientation empower you to make sound decisions and pursue your goals with confidence and determination. We wish you continued growth and success in your studies and future endeavors. ๐ฟ๐ช๐ป
