Yesterday afternoon, the air was filled with the sweet sound of carols and childrenโ€™s laughter as the ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ง (๐๐‚๐๐‚) hosted a special Christmas celebration. It was an afternoon dedicated entirely to making our local children feel the warmth and wonder of the holiday season.๐ŸŽ„โœจ

The atmosphere was electric with holiday cheer as kids from all over the community gathered for a day filled with wonder. The festivities officially began with a warm Welcome Remarks from Kagawad Danilo Lava, who set the stage for an afternoon centered on love, inclusion, and the spirit of sharing.

Highlights of the Day:
โ€ข ๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐†๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ & ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ฌ: ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ From classic parlor games to team-building challenges, the gymn was filled with cheers and healthy competition. The children showed off their energy and sportsmanship, winning prizes and making new friends along the way.

โ€ข ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‰๐จ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐†๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ : ๐ŸŽ Seeing the pure excitement and wide-eyed wonder as each child received their holiday surprise reminded us all of the true meaning of the season.

โ€ข ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐š๐ฒ ๐“๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ฌ & ๐๐จ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ : ๐Ÿฆ Beyond the gifts and prizes, it was a beautiful sight to see our youth coming together, sharing snacks, and creating memories that will last long after the decorations come down.

The BCPC remains committed to ensuring that every child in our community feels seen, protected, and celebratedโ€”not just during the holidays, but all year round. A huge thank you to all the volunteers, organizers, and parents who helped transform this vision into a reality. Together, we made this Christmas a little brighter for our little ones! โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ…

BCPC Lapaz Joins Drug Prevention Celebration; Youth Leaders Recognizedโ€Ž

BCPC Lapaz members participated in the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Celebration held on December 6, 2025, at Aglibacao Gymnasium, Jamindan. The program featured the Philippine National Anthem, the Capiz Hymn, a prayer, and welcome remarks from municipal officials, followed by the KKDAT Oath Taking and lectures on R.A. 9165 and Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo.โ€Ž

During the activity, Kim Laurence D. Nobleza, BCPC President, was re-elected as Treasurer of the Jamindan KKDAT Federation, affirming his continued leadership. Daffyd Llorico also earned recognition after placing 3rd in the Essay Writing Contest, part of the contest proper that also included quiz bee, spoken poetry, and short film advocacy.โ€Ž

The event highlighted the active involvement of youth organizations in promoting drug awareness and strengthening community efforts toward a drug-free Jamindan.

Kim Laurence D. Nobleza, BCPC Youth President, and Danica D. Dieta, BCPC Child Secretary, joined the 3-Day Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) Youth Camp last October 3-5, 2025โ€”where resilience, empowerment, and faith took center stage!

With the theme, "Resilient in Spirit, Empowered for Life. Grounded in Faith, Strengthened by Challenges, Inspired to Lead," our young leaders dived into workshops, team-building, and meaningful discussions. What an incredible day celebrating Nutrition Month 2025 with the theme "๐…๐จ๐จ๐ ๐š๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐Œ๐š๐ ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ! ๐’๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ญ ๐ง๐š ๐๐š๐ ๐ค๐š๐ข๐ง, ๐Š๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐š๐ง ๐๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง!" The event kicked off with a lively parade, setting a vibrant tone for the day.๐Ÿฅณ๐ŸŒŸ

Honored to have Hon. Remy M. Llorico, Punong Barangay, give the opening remarks, followed by an insightful message from Mr. Renh John I. Atanacio, Teacher 1 of Lapaz Primary School. The highlight of the day was an engaging lecture by Mrs. Ambrocia L. Lava, Teacher 2/Home Economics Coordinator of Jagnaya Elementary School, who brilliantly discussed the importance of healthy eating and the three basic food groups: Grow, Go, and Glow.

This event was made possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of the SK Council, along with the BCPC Youth and Child Officers and Members, and supportive Barangay Officials. After the enriching discussions, participants practiced proper handwashing, enjoyed a fulfilling feeding program, and had a blast with various games! It was a day filled with valuable lessons, community spirit, and a shared commitment to prioritizing food and nutrition security for everyone. Let's continue to advocate for the right to sufficient food for all!๐Ÿ™Œ

LOOK | The Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) - Lapaz Chapter celebrated the Safer Internet Day last March 22, 2025 with a theme, "Digital Bayanihan, para sa Kabataang Ligtas at Protektado Online". It concluded a successful event attended by some police of Jamindan Municipal Police Station. Cybercrime Awareness Symposium was the main focus in the celebration. The purpose of this celebration is to protect the children's regarding the negative effects of Online Transactions.
