Did you know? Around 80% of the world’s population relies on medicinal plants for primary healthcare.

This , with the theme Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage and Livelihoods, reminds us of the vital role these plants play in our health, culture, and environment.

As Scouts, we are called not only to explore the outdoors — but to protect it. The forests we hike in, the mountains we climb, and the campsites we cherish are living pharmacies, classrooms, and sanctuaries all at once.

Let this be our challenge:
- Practice Leave No Trace.
- Support conservation in our communities.
- Promote sustainable use and protection of plant life.
- Be true stewards of biodiversity.

Because being prepared means protecting the life that sustains us.

Being loyal as a Scout means standing by your principles, keeping your promises, and supporting others no matter the situation. It is about showing care for your fellow Scouts, serving your community, and staying committed to the Scout Law even when no one is watching. Loyalty is what makes a Scout dependable, responsible, and someone others can count on.

Today, the Isabela Central Elementary Pilot School Boy Scouts of the Philippines/ ICEPScouts gathered for a truly special event - the Tenderfoot Scout Rank Court of Honor, celebrating the hard work, growth and accomplishments. Each scout recognized for their dedication to mastering skills, teamwork and leadership.

From learning how to become a good citizen and care for their safety, to leading community services and supporting fellow scouts, these young leaders have proven that the spirit of scouting is alive and well.

A huge thank you to our Institutional Head Doc Jocelyn Buenaventura, Boy Scouts of the Philippines-Basilan Council headed by Sir Mark Delos Reyes, Honored Guest Sir Venice Chan Silva and Scout leaders Saud Alkuran ,Grace Ann Rowena Manda, Re Gine Tumanday Tuban Mhai Mhai , Rizza Sanson Rubia Anastacio, leila Mae Maquinay, Joyce Lim parents & guardians who guide, encourage and cheer on our scouts every step of the way. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁

169 years ago, Robert Baden-Powell was born. He saw that young people can do more than they are told, and that character is shaped by the choices we make every day.

He trusted young people to stand on their own, to act with courage, and to keep their word. Scouting became the proving ground where actions, not words, define who you are, and where small choices shape a lifetime of character.

Founder’s Day reminds every Scout that leaving the world better starts with each of us. What you do, how you act, and the way you keep your word today can echo far beyond what you see.

Make it count. Live your Promise. Let the mark you leave be a world better than you found it.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗲 𝗗𝗼, 𝗮𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺?

Some learners in the Philippines face classrooms where it’s hard to keep up, lessons move too fast, or extra help is hard to find. Some wonder if they’ll ever catch up, while others dream of learning more than what their schools can offer. Every child deserves a chance to explore, grow, and discover their potential and we believe no one should have to walk it alone.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines actively support the goals of The Second Congressional Commission on Education (EDCOM II) through action. We help children build their reading skills, so learning becomes more engaging and accessible. We plant trees, teaching care for the environment and responsibility for the world they will inherit. We share first aid knowledge, so communities are prepared in real-life situations. And we lead community service, building leadership, teamwork, and strong values along the way.

Scouting walk with learners, Scouting guide them, and Scouting show them that no dream is too big when someone believes in you. Scouting turn challenges into possibilities.

Scout journalists 🫡

Hanggang may mga kwento na kailangang ibahagi at katotohanan na dapat panindigan, mananatiling gising at matatag ang pamamahayag, walang sawang magsisilbing mata, tainga, at tinig ng bawat Pilipino.

Ngayong , kaisa ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines sa pagsaludo sa ating mga masisipag at matapang na mamamahayag, lalo na sa ating mga Scout journalists, na patuloy na nagbibigay liwanag at boses sa gitna ng mabilis na daloy ng mga impormasyon.

Patuloy sa pagtindig. Patuloy na naglilingkod para sa katotohanan, para sa sambayanan, at para sa kinabukasan.
