💡 WEEK 1 OF PROJECT SWITCH OFF: SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED! 🌍⚡

The first week of PROJECT SWITCH OFF at Luna National High School has been successfully implemented through the collective efforts of our students and teachers.

During the designated energy conservation hours, classrooms actively switched off unnecessary lights, electric fans and other electrical devices—proving that small actions can create a meaningful impact on our environment.

The YES-O Organization extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who participated and supported this initiative. Your commitment to conserving energy brings us one step closer to building a greener, more sustainable, and environmentally responsible school.

The Youth of Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) of Luna National High School (LNHS) is recognized for having the Best Booth/Stall Design during the Nutrition Month Food Bazaar, on June 26, 2026 at Luna National High School, Luna, Isabela.

The shool’s organizations, clubs, and sections per curriculum actively participated in the event, reinforcing unity, health, and communicating skills.

With this opportunity to join the activity, the team was more encouraged to strive to aspire for health, cooperation, and dedication within the YES-O association.

July 13, 2026 | Luna National High School officially launched YES-O's environmental programs for all LNHS learners. YES-O President Hanz Eder and YES-O Vice President Erich Mariano encouraged every learner to take an active role in protecting and preserving our environment.

The announcement introduced the exciting lineup of YES-O programs designed to promote environmental awareness and responsible action. These include Eco Trivia, where students can deepen their knowledge of environmental issues through weekly digital outputs every Friday, with recognition of winners every Monday; Project Switch Off, which encourages everyone to conserve electricity by switching off lights and electrical devices during the designated 30-minute morning and afternoon schedules. Bottle Smart, with the official collection of recyclable plastic bottles beginning this Friday; and the much-awaited Trashion Show, celebrating creativity, innovation, and sustainability through wearable designs made from recyclable materials.

These initiatives remind us that every small action—saving electricity, recycling waste, learning about the environment, and practicing sustainable habits—creates a positive impact on our school and our planet.

Together, let us become responsible stewards of the environment and inspire others through our actions. A cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future begins with each one of us.

As the food bazaar came alive with the delicious aroma of mouthwatering foods and refreshing drinks, the YES‑O Officers, alongside their adviser, Ma’am Karen Grace Guetteng, bring their best offering of warm smiles, dedicated service, and delicious food to all visitors and students.💚 🍕

From the crispy lumpiang shanghai to the refreshing treats, every stall stands out with its unique food and drinks, which makes the intense heat feel cooler and the excitement higher.🍕
