United in Faith. Strengthened in Service. Sent Forth on Mission.

Yesterday was a beautiful milestone for the Catholic Faith Defenders of Isabel. New members answered the call, while existing members renewed their commitment to serve Christ and His Church. It was a reminder that faithfulness is not merely about words, but about living each day as faithful witnesses of the Gospel.

Catholic Faith Defenders voluntarily undergo deeper formation so they may be better prepared to serve, explain, defend, and share the Catholic faith. They willingly dedicate themselves to being equipped and ready whenever the faith needs to be proclaimed, explained, or defended.

Blessed and commissioned, they were sent forth on mission to serve the Church, strengthen fellow Catholics, and help lead others closer to Christ.

As the church's special forces, front-line apologists, and vanguard of evangelization and catechesis supporting the priests, may the Holy Spirit continue to guide them as faithful servants of the Gospel and witnesses to the truth. May the Lord strengthen, inspire, and sustain every Catholic Faith Defender as they carry out their mission with courage, humility, and love, serving Christ and His Church with knowledge, charity, and conviction.

Pro Deo et Ecclesia — For God and the Church.
Ad Christum per Mariam — To Christ through Mary.
Veritas in Caritate — Truth in Charity.
Fide Defendere, Caritate Servire — To Defend the Faith, To Serve with Charity.
Semper Fidelis Christo et Ecclesiae — Always Faithful to Christ and the Church.

“Grow strong in your faith, so you won’t be easily misled.” Ephesians 4:14

In the humble community of Bilwang, Isabel, Leyte, CFDs were requested for a Bible Rally, to help Catholics deepen their faith so that the faithful may grow in truth and not be easily misled. Even amid the short notice, a number of residents responded with openness, assembled even without material incentives. Through God’s grace, the event became fruitful, and weekly Bible studies will now be held to continue nurturing faith and spiritual clarity.

We are called to grow in spiritual maturity so we are not easily confused, influenced, or misled by different teachings.

✝️ Know your Catholic Faith well.
✝️ Be rooted in truth.
✝️ Discern what is right and not be easily deceived.

As Christians, learning, studying Scripture, and growing together as a community is important, so that faith becomes firm, clear, and grounded, not easily shaken by other teachings.

CFD Isabel is deeply grateful and honored by the trust given to us. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated BEC Coordinator, the Barangay Officials for generously providing the venue, the Chapel/BEC Officers, and to everyone who participated despite having a big parish event on the same day. Your presence and willingness made this mission truly alive.

With humility and joy, CFDs remain always ready to serve, journeying with communities in faith, truth, and love.
