Earlier today, our Red Cross Youth (RCY) members actively participated in the Basic Fire Safety Training led by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) - Isabel Fire Station on August 22, 2026.

The training provided us with valuable knowledge and practical skills on fire prevention, proper response, and safety measures during fire emergencies.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our School Nurse, Ivy Kareen Dayandayan, and Ma’am Mary Ben T. Petralba for their support and for making this meaningful and educational activity possible.

A big thank you as well to the BFP Isabel Fire Station for sharing your expertise and helping us become more prepared and responsible in keeping our community safe.

Safety starts with awareness and preparedness.

Hawak Mo ang Beat: One Community, One Mission

The Philippine Red Cross National CPR Caravan brought the community together to learn lifesaving CPR skills. Former RCY President Lyle Joshua Reeze Centino shared the history of the Philippine Red Cross, Charles Ethan Parcon led the CPR lecture and demonstrations, while Mayor Benjamin S. Pongos Jr. emphasized the importance of CPR in saving lives.

Special thanks to our Red Cross Youth Isabel members, St. Martin Academy of Isabel, LGU Isabel, BJMP, Traffic Enforcers, Saint Augustine Parish of Matlang Youth, and all participating local and private sectors for making the event a success.

Some people graduate with medals, while others leave behind something even greater—a legacy of service, compassion, and leadership.

We proudly celebrate our Red Cross Youth seniors as they close one chapter and begin another. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, for leading with kind hearts, and for showing us what it truly means to serve without expecting anything in return. Hats off to each of you for your passion, resilience, and commitment that have inspired not only our chapter but everyone who has had the privilege of serving alongside you.

As you move forward, may you continue to carry the values you've embraced through the Red Cross Youth. Wherever life takes you, may you keep making a difference, touching lives, and leading with humanity.
