The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Outfit 211 wishes to clarify its policy concerning the management and membership of its official group communication channel.

The official Outfit 211 group chat was established primarily as an institutional internal communication platform for the current members and officers of the Outfit. It serves as a central venue for the dissemination of official announcements, coordination of activities, submission and retrieval of documents, sharing of organizational records, and preservation of photographs, files, and other important memorabilia related to the activities and history of the Outfit.

In order to ensure the proper, orderly, and efficient flow of communication, the Outfit shall maintain one official group chat as its primary internal communication channel. This arrangement is intended to be sustained not only for the present membership but also for succeeding batches and generations of Scouts who will become part of BSP Outfit 211 in the coming years.

Maintaining one institutional group chat will help establish continuity in the organization's communication system and provide a consistent platform where important announcements, documents, records, and other materials may be properly organized and retained. It will likewise minimize the possibility of important information being overlooked, duplicated, or lost as membership and leadership change over time.

In line with this policy, Alumni Scouts will no longer be included in the official Outfit 211 group chat intended for active members. This is an organizational and administrative measure designed to preserve the intended purpose of the group chat and to ensure that it remains focused on the current operations, responsibilities, and activities of the Outfit.

This decision should not, in any way, be interpreted as an attempt to undermine, disregard, or diminish the contributions and legacy of our Alumni Scouts. On the contrary, BSP Outfit 211 fully recognizes that the accomplishments and standing of the Outfit today are the result of the collective efforts, sacrifices, leadership, and service of the Scouts and Scout Leaders who came before the present membership.

Our Alumni Scouts are an integral part of the history and continuing legacy of Outfit 211. The removal from the current official group chat is therefore not a removal from the organization's history, nor does it diminish the value of their years of service and contribution. Their legacy remains an important part of the foundation upon which the present and future members of the Outfit will continue to build.

Alumni Scouts who wish to remain informed about the programs, activities, achievements, and other developments of BSP Outfit 211 are encouraged to continue following the official page of the organization, which shall remain an appropriate platform for sharing public updates and accomplishments.

We respectfully ask for the understanding, cooperation, and continued support of our Alumni Scouts as the Outfit implements this organizational measure. The intention is not to create division between past and present members, but rather to establish a communication system that is organized, sustainable, consistent, and suitable for the long-term continuity of BSP Outfit 211.

As the Outfit moves forward, we hope to preserve both the efficiency of our present operations and the legacy of those who came before us. The organization remains grateful for the service of every Scout who has contributed to its development and continues to value the principle that while membership in the active roster may change, the spirit of Scouting and the legacy of service remain.

BSP Outfit 211 extends its sincere appreciation to all Alumni Scouts for their understanding and continued support.
