𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐃𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐋𝐘 𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐅𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐒

Last 05 February 2024, the Pag- Asa Youth Association of the Philippines Inc. (PYAP) Iriga City Chapter had their first quarterly meeting. And part of that was the election of the new set of officers.

With the presence, assistance, and guidance of the Youth Service Provider (YSP), Leiszl A. Viscaya, Local Youth Development Officer (LYDO), Quenie Marie April Aurellano–Gonzales, and SK Pederasyon President, Hon. Dessa Mare P. Lontayao, the election was done successfully and smoothly.

Also, with the support of the City Mayor, Hon. Wilfredo Rex C. Oliva, City Vice Mayor, Edsel S. Dimaiwat, and Office of the City Social Welfare and Development (OCSWD) Department Head, Maridel C. Verrosa, RSW.

The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines is an association under the DSWD that gears towards the total development of the disadvantaged youth in terms of his/her socio-economic, physical, psychological, cultural and spiritual development. Moreover, this association aims to promote the development of the out of school youth and other disadvantaged youth to become self reliant economically productive and socially responsible citizens, able to contribute to the development of their family and community.

As one of the active youth organizations in Iriga City, The PYAP Iriga Chapter elected their federation officers and had their first quarter meeting yesterday, February 5, 2024. These new set of officers together with the whole PYAP Federation of the City of Iriga, in collaboration with the Panlungsod na Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan of Iriga City, will continuously participate in contributing effective leadership and service for the development of the youth sector in the city.
