In partnership with YOUTH G and the Local Government Unit of Bula through its Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office, JCI Iriga successfully conducted : A Roundtable Discussion on Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) as part of the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End VAWC, held last December 15–16, 2025 at Megay Beach Resort, Itangon, Bula, Camarines Sur.

Beyond the main highlight, the roundtable discussion, the activity also featured meaningful and timely conversations on ghost project corruption, HIV awareness, early marriage, VAWC-related laws, and other relevant socio-political issues affecting communities today.

The event was spearheaded by JCI Iriga Secretary Ma. Bernadette Panaligan and JCI Iriga PIO Jeffrey Ramos, and was participated in by the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) officials of Bula, Camarines Sur.

To the hands and hearts behind the smiles 🧡

To our 63 volunteers in Dasmariñas, Naga, Iriga, Sorsogon, and Iloilo, thank you for choosing to spend your holiday season on the ground. You navigated the logistics and gave 250 kids a reason to smile.

Seeing the photos now, we realize that the true "bhieyaya" (blessing) was having a community of young leaders like you. You are the living embodiment of YOUTH G.

Thank you for your energy, your patience, and your heart. We couldn’t have reached these five cities without your dedication.

From local roots to a national mission. ❤️📍

It’s hard to believe that what started right here in Iriga City in 2021 has now grown into a simultaneous nationwide movement! While four other teams were active at the exact same day in Dasmariñas, Naga, Sorsogon, and Iloilo, the Iriga team was on the ground at Barangay San Nicolas, helping us reach our goal of 250 kids last December 30.

To our amazing volunteers: You are the heart of this growth. Transitioning from a local group to a national organization only happens because of people like you who show up and give their all. Thank you for your energy and for keeping the spirit of service alive in the city where it all began.
