🦁 Strengthening Leadership, Fellowship, and Service

The Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF was honored to attend the R5 First Governor’s Visitation held in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

It was a meaningful gathering of Lions Clubs coming together to share updates, present their accomplishments, and report on their service activities and initiatives. More than just reports, the event was an opportunity to celebrate the collective impact of Lions who continue to serve their communities with dedication and compassion.

Through collaboration, accountability, and fellowship, we are reminded that every service project, big or small, contributes to a greater mission of helping others.

A little food, a lot of care.

Today, we had the privilege of supporting the Integrated B.U.D.D.Y. Warriors & V.I.B.E. Project Student-Leader Training of Infanta National High School.

We shared lugaw and ensaymada with the student-leaders—not just as food, but as a simple gesture of support, encouragement, and care as they learn how to become positive influences among their peers.

We believe that service is not always about doing something big. Sometimes, it’s simply being there, sharing what we can, and reminding young people that they are seen, valued, and supported.

May these young leaders continue to LISTEN • UNDERSTAND • CARE • CHOOSE • STAND • INFLUENCE and become a positive force in their school and community.

Small acts of kindness can nourish both the body and the heart.

MANGROVE TREE PLANTING & MONITORING

On August 1, 2026, the Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF conducted a Mangrove Tree Planting and Monitoring Activity in Barangay Gumian.

As part of our continuing environmental service, our Lions also visited and monitored the mangroves previously planted by the Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, checking their growth and condition and ensuring that our efforts continue to make a lasting impact.

The activity was made more meaningful through the presence and support of the Barangay Gumian Chairman, Sangguniang Barangay members, Mangrove Chairpersons, and Barangay staff, who joined us in promoting the protection and preservation of our coastal environment.

Mangrove planting is not just about putting seedlings in the ground—it is about nurturing them, monitoring their growth, and working together to protect our environment for future generations.

Our deepest appreciation to the Barangay Gumian officials and staff for their continued partnership and support.

Together, we grow more than trees.

A NIGHT OF CELEBRATION, FELLOWSHIP & SERVICE !

On August 13, 2026, the Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF had the privilege of attending the 44th Anniversary & 45th Induction Ceremonies of Lions International District 301-A2, Philippines, held at Filinvest Tent Alabang, Metro Manila.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, leadership, and celebration, bringing together Lions from different clubs to honor the continuing legacy of service and the commitment of our fellow Lions.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this special occasion and to celebrate with our fellow Lions as we continue our journey of Service Above Self.

May we continue to grow stronger as Lions, work together, and make a greater difference in the communities we serve.

Last August 16, 2026, the Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF conducted a meaningful Mangrove Planting Activity in Barangay Gumian.

Together, our members came together to do our part in protecting and preserving our coastal environment. Each mangrove seedling we planted represents a commitment to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future.

Mangroves play an important role in protecting our coastlines, providing habitats for marine life, and helping strengthen our communities against environmental challenges.

MISSION 1.5 SEMINAR | LEARNING, LEADERSHIP & SERVICE

The Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF proudly participated in the Mission 1.5 Seminar held at the 14th Floor, Madrigal Business Park, Ayala Alabang.

The seminar provided an opportunity for Lions to gain deeper insights into Mission 1.5, strengthen our understanding of membership growth and engagement, and discover ways we can make an even greater impact through service.

SEEING A BRIGHTER FUTURE, ONE CHILD AT A TIME.

The Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club, MJF continues to bring the gift of better vision to children through the Lions Sight for Kids (SFK) Program.

As part of this initiative, our club visited five elementary schools in Infanta, Quezon to orient teachers on the proper use of the Snellen Chart and Occluder for the initial vision screening of their students.

Schools Visited:
• Banugao Elementary School
• Alitas Elementary School
• Lual Elementary School
• Picab Elementary School
• Tudturan Elementary School

During the school visits, our team demonstrated how to properly conduct the initial vision screening and how to identify students who may need further eye examination.

We also turned over Snellen Charts and Occluders to each participating school, empowering teachers to continue conducting basic vision screening among their students.

This program is more than just checking eyesight. It is about giving children the opportunity to see clearly, learn confidently, and reach their full potential.

We sincerely thank the school administrators and teachers for welcoming us and for their willingness to become partners in promoting children's eye health.

Together, we can help more children see a brighter future.

Last Sunday, February 22, 2026, the Quezon Metro Reina Lions Club had a meaningful and productive day of service!

✨ We started with a Clean-Up Drive at the 3 Lions Landmark, showing our commitment to protecting and maintaining our community’s symbol of pride.
🎁 We continued with a Gift-Giving Activity, sharing blessings and bringing smiles to families in need.
📋 And we concluded the day with our Monthly Meeting, strengthening our plans, teamwork, and dedication to future service projects.

It was a day filled with action, compassion, and unity — truly living out our mission: We Serve.
