𝗢𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗜𝘀𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗶 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗚𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 gathered at the 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹 for our monthly formation, with 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲l𝗶𝘇𝗮 𝗗𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝘇𝗺𝗮𝗻 as our speaker. This month’s formation focused on “Mental Health,” reminding us that taking care of ourselves means caring not only for our physical health, but also for our mental and spiritual well-being.
For this month’s formation, Ninang Flordeliza De Guzman talked about the importance of taking care of our mental health, especially among young people who face different challenges, pressures, and worries in their everyday lives. We were reminded that anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions are not things that we should simply ignore. Everyone has their own struggles, and learning to understand and manage our emotions can help us face challenges in a healthier way.
We were also reminded that not all problems are meant to break us. Sometimes, the challenges we experience become part of who we are and teach us valuable lessons that help us grow into better and stronger individuals. Every struggle can teach us something about ourselves, our faith, and the way we face life. While we may not always understand why certain things happen, we can choose to learn from them and allow these experiences to shape us for the better.
Our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being are connected. Taking care of ourselves means giving our body enough rest, allowing ourselves to process our emotions, and strengthening our relationship with God through prayer and faith. We were reminded that we do not have to face every problem alone, for God remains with us through every challenge and difficulty.
As Iskolars, may we continue to grow not only in knowledge and skills, but also in faith, character, and compassion. May we learn to embrace every challenge as an opportunity to grow, become better versions of ourselves, and be a source of support and encouragement to others.
