The Tourism Students Association conducted its 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on September 21, 2026, at 4:15 PM, presided over by President Martinez and attended by fourteen (14) officers.

The session covered the following agendas:

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Proposed Resolution 06 s. 2026 - A Resolution Establishing the Official TOURISTA Public Drive as an Online Repository for Approved Documents, Records, and Official Information or the Organization for 2026-2027 Term (𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙)

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Proposed Resolution 12 s. 2026 - A Resolution Authorizing the Withdrawal of One Thousand Pesos for the Collaborative Canva Pro Access Program with CTHM-SC and CHARMS (𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙)

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Activity Proposal 2026-02 - PRINT IT TO WIN IT: TOURISTA Printing Service

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡: Initiative Proposal 2026-03 - The Grievance Desk Letter - "PARA KAY TOURISTA: BOSES MO'Y PANGUNAHIN"

Other matters discussed were as follows:

• Discussion of External Partnerships
• Officer Duty for Provincial Scholarship Program (PSP) 2nd Batch
• Midterm Examination Pantry
• Share with Care: A Donation Drive

Each agenda item was given due and thorough deliberation to ensure that all concerns were properly addressed and that necessary actions were duly identified. There being no further matters for discussion, and upon a motion duly made by BM – Internal Affairs Pacia and seconded by BM – External Affairs David , the 1st Sepcial Session of the Tourism Students Association was formally adjourned at exactly 7:21 PM on September 21, 2026.

𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗦𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗟𝗔, 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗜 𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗦𝗨𝗞𝗢.

Ngayong 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘆𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟭, ginugunita ang ika-54 na anibersaryo ng Proclamation No. 1081, na nilagdaan ni dating Pangulong Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. noong Setyembre 21, 1972, na nagdeklara ng 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿 sa buong Pilipinas. Sa panahong ito, isinailalim sa mahigpit na kontrol ang pamamahayag, habang maraming kritiko ng administrasyon—kabilang ang mga pulitiko, mamamahayag, aktibista, at iba pang indibidwal—ang inaresto at ikinulong.

Ang paggunita sa Batas Militar ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pag-alala sa isang yugto ng ating kasaysayan. Ito rin ay paalala sa kahalagahan ng 𝙠𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙖𝙣, 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙣, 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮, 𝙖𝙩 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣.

Sa kasalukuyan, kabilang sa mga usaping nararapat nating bantayan ang paggamit at paglalaan ng pampublikong pondo. Batay sa datos ng Department of Budget and Management, bumaba ang New General Appropriations ng Cavite State University mula ₱𝟮.𝟭𝟳𝟴𝟱𝟵𝟬 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 ₱𝟮.𝟬𝟳𝟮𝟱𝟵𝟮 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁-𝗸𝘂𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 ₱𝟭𝟬𝟱.𝟵𝟵𝟴 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗮.

Bilang mga mag-aaral ng 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, hindi dapat maging hadlang ang pagiging estudyante upang makialam sa mga usaping direktang nakaaapekto sa ating edukasyon at kinabukasan. Bagkus, 𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙤 𝙖𝙮 𝙙𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙤—ang munting apoy na patuloy na mag-aalab sa puso ng kabataan upang manindigan, kumilos, at sumulong tungo sa isang mas makatarungang lipunan. Nawa'y magsilbi tayong 𝙖𝙥𝙤𝙮 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙮-𝙡𝙞𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜 𝙨𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙢, 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙙 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣, 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙗𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙮-𝙡𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙨 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙜 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙜. Ang paggunita ay hindi lamang pagbabalik sa nakaraan. Ito ay pag-unawa sa mga aral ng kasaysayan at paggamit nito upang maging mas mapanuri sa kasalukuyan.

The Tourism Students Association (TOURISTA) conveys its heartfelt congratulations to 𝘿𝙧. 𝙅𝙚𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙀. 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙨, Chairperson of the CTHM–Department of Hospitality Management, on earning her 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 from the Lyceum of the Philippines University - Manila.
