Sanghaya Dance Ensemble Group of Performing Artists

Advocates the preservation of Philippine indigenous music, songs, costumes and folk dance forms to enable students and audiences experience the common work of the people. Its name comes from the tagalog word sanghaya which means a bundles of rice stalks (isang bigkis ng palay / isang haya) representing buhay, the very life of our farmers and saya, the joy of a bountiful harvest celebrated in the form of dance and music.
