Habang nagtatapos ang araw, nagtitipon ang Senior Scouts ng Outfit 1007 at SRT upang isagawa ang Seremonya ng Flag Retreat. Sa bawat utos na ibinibigay, sabay-sabay na nagbibigay-galang ang mga Scout habang marahang ibinababa ang watawat ng Pilipinas nang may dangal, paggalang, at pagpapahalaga sa ating bansa. 🇵🇭

Ang pagbaba ng watawat ng Pilipinas ay ipinagtibay tuwing araw ng Biyernes, bilang bahagi ng pagpapanatili ng disiplina, pagkakaisa, at paghubog ng pamumuno sa hanay ng mga kabataang Scout. Ang seremonyang ito ay nagsisilbing paalala ng ating tungkulin bilang mamamayan na igalang at pahalagahan ang simbolo ng ating kalayaan.

NSED DONE! 🚨

At exactly 3:30 PM, General Thomas Mascardo National High School successfully conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). Students quickly and safely evacuated the hazard perimeter with the assistance of Outfit 1007, demonstrating preparedness, discipline, and teamwork in times of emergency.

This activity became possible through the collaboration of, SDRRM, and SRT, headed by Sir Edwin Montes, working together to ensure everyone’s safety and awareness.

Preparedness saves lives.
Today's drill reminded us that awareness, teamwork, and quick action make our school community stronger and safer.

🔥 Cooking the Traditional Way! 🔥

Today, February 19, 2026, another milestone has been successfully achieved by the Senior Scouts of Gen. Tomas Mascardo National High School as they fulfilled one of the requirements in their Senior Scouting Passport for the Merit Badge in Cooking.
Our Senior Scouts proudly showcased their culinary skills using the traditional method of cooking with firewood as fuel—proving that true skills go beyond modern convenience and are rooted in discipline, patience, and teamwork.

Special thanks to our TLE teacher, Ma’am Mayeth Hermoso, for guiding the scouts and emphasizing the important Dos and Don’ts of cooking. She highlighted that proper preparation, safety, and cleanliness are essential ingredients to a successful dish.
By the end of the activity, the Senior Scouts demonstrated not only their ability to cook but also their responsibility, cooperation, and commitment—truly earning their merit badge with pride. 👏✨
