The Imus City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCCI) proudly joined the successful Business Conference 2026 organized by the Office of the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer (OLEDIPO) on July 30, 2026, at the New Imus City Government Center.

With more than 300 entrepreneurs in attendance, the conference brought together business leaders, government partners, and industry stakeholders for an inspiring exchange of ideas, practical business insights, and strategies for sustainable growth.

Featuring renowned entrepreneur and business speaker RJ Ledesma, the event highlighted the importance of meaningful business models, entrepreneurial mindset, social responsibility, and long-term business growth.

🤝 ICCCI remains committed to supporting programs that empower MSMEs, strengthen the local business community, and create opportunities for sustainable economic development in Imus City.

𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓: South Luzon PCCI Holds Virtual Meeting

The South Luzon PCCI successfully held its regular meeting via Zoom on July 13, 2026.

The meeting was attended by SL VP Hoover, Regional Directors, Local Chamber Presidents and Representatives, and Ms. Kharylle of the PCCI National Secretariat.

𝑲𝒆𝒚 𝒉𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒂:

1. SOLABC Success
The group recognized the successful hosting of the recent SOLABC by the Lipa City Chamber of Commerce. Congratulations were extended to Lipa Chamber for a well-organized event.

2. Upcoming PCCI National Conference
Updates were shared on the PCCI National Conference set on October 12-14, 2026 at Manila Hotel. Chambers were encouraged to prepare delegations and take part in the national gathering of business leaders.

3. Business Opportunities Presented
Several new opportunities were introduced to members, including:
- Halal Products Trade in Saudi Arabia
- Vietnam Business Matching Program
Chambers were urged to explore these avenues for global expansion.

4. Award Nominations
Nominations were opened for the following PCCI awards:
- Most Outstanding Chamber Award
- Most Business-Friendly LGU Award
- Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award
- 17th AMY Awards
- Business Idea and Innovation Award
Specific criteria will be sent by Ms. Kharylle to all local chambers.

The meeting ended on a positive note with strong support for collaboration and regional growth. Everyone looks forward to the next meet-up.

𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: DTI Cybersecurity Awareness Session Empowers MSMEs Through Digital Safety l July 9, 2026

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Session for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) on July 9, providing entrepreneurs with valuable knowledge and practical guidance on strengthening their digital security.

The session highlighted the growing importance of cybersecurity in today's increasingly digital business environment. Participants were oriented on common online security risks, including the dangers of accessing suspicious links, opening potentially harmful programs, and engaging with unverified online content.

The training also emphasized the importance of implementing stronger security measures for social media accounts, online banking platforms, passwords, and other sensitive digital information. Through these discussions, MSME participants gained practical insights into preventive measures that can help protect their businesses, accounts, and valuable information from potential cyber threats.

The activity served as a meaningful opportunity for entrepreneurs to enhance their cybersecurity awareness and develop responsible digital practices that contribute to safer and more resilient businesses.

𝐈𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: LIFE AFTER 25: Celebrating Ability, Inclusion, and Purpose

The Life After 25 project, featuring products made by Learners with Special Needs, was successfully held on July 24–25, 2026, at the Activity Area, Robinsons Imus.

The event brought together members of the community, partners, supporters, and shoppers who came together to celebrate the talents, creativity, and capabilities of learners with special needs. Through this meaningful initiative, the Imus City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. helped create a platform where their products could be showcased, appreciated, and supported by the community.

A Celebration with Purpose

More than an event, Life After 25 highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for learners with special needs beyond the classroom. By providing a venue to showcase their products and skills, the project helps promote self-confidence, independence, entrepreneurship, and meaningful participation in the community.

Every purchase, visit, and expression of support contributed to a bigger impact—helping learners and their families build skills, gain opportunities, and work toward a more inclusive and empowered future.
