Rebuild momentum activated. 🛠️✨

Baguio City is expediting the ₱27M rehabilitation of the fire-hit Maharlika Livelihood Center basement to help 92 stallholders return to business ASAP.

The fire last September gutted the area, and while rehab is pegged at four months, bidding drags it to six—so the city is finding ways to trim the timeline.

Long-term? They’re eyeing ₱350M in national funding to upgrade the whole complex supporting 600+ MSMEs.

Food supply audit time. 🧅⚠️

The DA is calling out importers over the slow movement of red onion imports—a major concern with holiday demand kicking in and retail prices already hitting ₱320–₱330 per kilo.

Despite permits for 69,040 MT, only a fraction has arrived.
The DA warns: use your permits or lose them. Other importers—including FTI—may take over to stabilize supply.

No more onion drama this Christmas.
