📢 1ST YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT!

The Mindanao State University Buug, in partnership with the Philippines Army's 102nd Infantry "Igsoon" Brigade and 106th Infantry "Tigpanalipod" Battalion, together with the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) of the Municipality of Buug and Youth for Peace Movement in Zamboanga Sibugay will conduct the 1st Youth Leadership Summit on September 27-29, 2024, at the MSU Buug Gymnasium.

Theme: "Transforming Minds, Transforming Lives: Matino, Mahusay, at Maasahang Kabataan"

In preparation for the upcoming Mindanao State University-Buug Campus Youth Leadership Summit, the 106th Infantry "Tigpanalipod" Battalion, 1IDPA, together with the Mindanao State University-Buug, Youth For Peace Movement Zamboanga Sibugay, and Local Youth Development Office of Buug, conducted a Youth Leadership Summit Facilitators Training cm MSU YLS Planning at Headquarters 106IB, Lower Baluran, Imelda Zamboanga Sibugay on 21-22 September 2024.

The said facilitators training aims to equip them with necessary knowledge in the conduct of the Youth Leadership Summit and develop their personal perspectives and skills. As a prerequisite for conducting the YLS, facilitators are expected to be properly prepared enough about their duties and responsibilities.

This activity also focused on a comprehensive planning and discussion for the incoming 1st ever MSU Buug Campus YLS to commence on 27-29 September 2024.

106h Infantry Battalion Commander 𝐋𝐢𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐔 𝐏𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚, MSU Buug Chancellor 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚, Local Youth Development Officer of Buug 𝐌𝐫. 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜, and Youth For Peace Movement Zamboanga Sibugay President 𝐀𝐥𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧, graced the said 2 days event.

This collaboration between the Philippine Army, Academe and Youth Organizations intends to empower youth and mold future generations.
