A meaningful conversation on nutrition, wellness, and healthy living was successfully concluded last August 30, 2026, at the Poblacion Ilawod Barangay Hall, Lambunao, Iloilo, with the theme “Makabatang Usapang Nutrisyon Para sa Lahat: Sapat at Dapat.”

The activity brought together young people and community members in an engaging space where they could learn, share, and reflect on the importance of proper nutrition and overall well being. More than just a discussion, Nourish to Flourish reminded us that access to proper nutrition and reliable health information is an important part of building healthier and stronger communities.

The I Love Lambunao Volunteer Team (ILLVT) extends its sincere gratitude to our partners, Youth First Initiative Philippines Inc. and the Poblacion Ilawod Sangguniang Kabataan Council, for their support and collaboration in making this meaningful initiative possible.

Through Volunteer Nation PH, YFI continues to create spaces where young people can build practical skills and turn their ideas into meaningful action.

During Collab Sessions 8: From Idea to Impact, young leaders learned how to assess school and community needs, identify problems worth solving, develop actionable project plans, and lead initiatives that create lasting impact.

The session was facilitated by Jharyn Kate, Top Circle Awardee and TOSIA Student Leader, who shared her experience and insights on project planning and youth leadership.

Collab Sessions is part of YFI’s continuing work to develop the capacities of young people, provide meaningful opportunities for participation, and empower them to take initiative in their own communities.
