Following the completion of our first membership cycle, Youth First Initiative Philippines Inc. opens 𝗖𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝟮 for young individuals in Western Visayas ready to commit to a structured journey of service, discipline, and leadership development.

YFI membership is a year-long progression where individuals are expected to participate meaningfully, contribute real work, and grow through experience.

𝗖𝗢𝗛𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝟮 offers:

Expanding its reach across the province, Mindshift Initiative recently brought its advocacy to the municipalities of 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐚 and 𝐋𝐞𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨. Through these dedicated community engagements, Mindshift successfully delivered its 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 (𝑴𝑾𝑨) 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒏, providing local students and youth with age-appropriate information, practical insights, and healthy coping strategies to support their daily mental well-being.
These provincial rollouts emphasize the importance of making mental health resources accessible outside the city centers. By working alongside local community leaders and youth advocates in both municipalities, the campaign highlighted the shared responsibility of creating safe, supportive environments for young Ilonggos.

𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 | 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝘂𝗲ñ𝗮𝘀

​Mindshift Initiative took part in a local mental health caravan in the early morning of 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, in the municipality of 𝐃𝐮𝐞ñ𝐚𝐬, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨.

This collaborative wellness effort brought together youth organizations, community groups, and local advocates to promote holistic well-being, emphasizing the critical importance of mental health care for the people of Iloilo. The event highlighted how accessible, grassroots wellness programs are key to building and strengthening community resilience.

𝗔 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 🎨

Last March 28, 2026, an art installation by 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐰 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐰 in honor of Earth Hour came to life at 𝐌𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, led by 𝐒𝐚𝐤𝐝𝐚𝐠 𝐏𝐇 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐌 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨. From a simple pencil sketch to a vibrant 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞, volunteers filled the canvas with color—each stroke reflecting hope, remembrance, and a shared call for action. 🖌🌈

The interactive art piece highlighted the 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, showing how art can convey meaning in unique ways. The process itself was as meaningful as the outcome—fun, collaborative, and deeply engaging, made even livelier by the presence of 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝’𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡. 🎶

Would you like to be part of the artwork for the Earth?

This Earth Hour, join an interactive Art Installation by Creative Block where you help paint a piece of our art installation. Each section you fill adds to a larger design, slowly forming a collective artwork shaped by everyone present.

Co-presented by Youth First Initiative Philippines, Inc. and SAKDAG PH, in partnership with SM City, this is a space for creativity, community, and shared expression. Expect a laid back atmosphere with a live DJ set by Kape Beats, plus a coffee booth by Kape Guid! to keep things flowing as you paint and connect.
