Thank you so much to ICLHO Head Atty. Peter Millare and your dedicated staff for visiting our Gawad Kalinga site today! 🙏

We truly appreciate you taking the time to check our finished youth hydroponics and study hub project funded by our Beloved City Mayor Raisa Treñas, plus review our proposal for the expansion of our Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) — a big help for our residents’ progress.

We also shared our plan to refurbish and develop our community mini‑park:
✅ Safe, proper play area for children
✅ Comfortable space for parents to stay while waiting for kids after class

We are hoping for financial support from the good office of our beloved City Mayor Raisa Treñas and Councilor Miguel Treñas to make these plans fully happen.

Stakeholders, HOA officers, and partner agencies gathered to review and refine key provisions.
Leaders’ insights help shape a responsive, inclusive housing policy for all.

Together with fellow presidents, we went over the Code to ensure every resident is informed and every community has a voice.

🇵🇭 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION: BUILDING TOGETHER THROUGH BAYANIHAN

As we mark our country’s Independence Day, Peco1 Gawad Kalinga Village HOA Inc. together with the Peco1 GK Youth Council chose to celebrate in a special and meaningful way — through the spirit of Bayanihan! 🤝🎋

Instead of just festivities, we came together to officially install and launch our proposed community project — our Hydroponics and Study Hub! 🎋🌱📚 It was a wonderful sight to see our youth, officers, and residents working hand-in-hand, sharing effort, time, and heart to turn our plan into reality.

We are also deeply grateful to Century Pacific Food Corp for generously sponsoring our feeding program. This initiative helps promote healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition for our community, perfectly complementing our new hub — which will serve as a place for learning, sustainable farming, and growth.

True independence is also about standing together, helping one another, and building a better home for everyone. This project is not just a structure — it is a symbol of our unity, resilience, and hope for the future.

Our youth remain excited, active, and ready to serve, proving that the spirit of service and community lives on in the next generation.

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE: EMERGENCY MEETING HELD

Peco1 GK Youth Council gathered together with our respected Tatays and HOA Officers for an emergency meeting regarding the upcoming installation of our new project! 🎋

Through the spirit of Bayanihan, we discussed plans, preparations, and how everyone can work hand-in-hand to make this project a success.

Our youth are full of excitement, energy, and ready to give their best to carry out this undertaking. They are eager to serve, learn, and contribute to the growth of our community! 💪🌱
