Every movement begins with a purpose, and every meaningful change takes people willing to take the first step. In an organization built on motion, leadership means more than moving forward. It means moving together, creating momentum, and ensuring that no one is left behind.

As we enter another chapter, we introduce the officers who will carry the movement of the Association of Physical Education Majors (APEM). Alongside the Student Support Group (SSG), they are ready to turn ideas into action, challenges into opportunities for growth, and collective aspirations into meaningful progress.

With every stride, they embody a shared commitment to lead with purpose, serve with passion, and inspire others to keep moving.

Meet the APEM Officers and SSG for Academic Year 2026–2027, as they are ready to lead the way, keep the momentum alive, and move our community towards a common goal.

More than just a swimming activity, S.A.V.E. 2026 is a training experience designed to develop essential swimming, water safety, and survival skills through practical and experiential learning.

Whether you are a beginner or already familiar with swimming, this is your opportunity to learn essential skills, build confidence, and become more prepared in and around the water.

𝗖𝗢𝗣 𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀

Future physical educators from Association of Physical Education Majors (APEM) gained practical insights during PAGLAMBO: Cultivating Effective Teaching Strategies and Instructional Planning, held at Ramon Magsaysay Hall, EB 207–208, October 9.

The seminar commenced with an opening message from APEM Chairperson Kryshia Charisse Balidiong, followed by a welcome message from Dr. Weena Paclibar, a Field Study teacher for fourth-year students.

Guest speaker and College of PESCAR alumnus Kim Evan Batacondo, MPE, shared practical strategies and insights to help participants navigate classroom realities and strengthen their preparation for the teaching profession.

“Teaching is a calling that needs to be heard,” Batacondo said, reminding the participants that the profession goes beyond fulfilling job duties and is a vocation driven by passion and a commitment to students’ needs.

Through PAGLAMBO, APEM reaffirmed its commitment to fostering professional growth and meaningful learning experiences among future physical educators, equipping its members with essential teaching competencies as they prepare to enter the classroom.

Association of Physical Education Majors (APEM) Assistant Public Information Officer, James Dominic Lamera secured 3rd Place in the On-the-Spot Painting Contest held on October 10, 2026 at SM Iloilo Central Market

Organized by WVSU–Youth for Peers in celebration of World Mental Health Day, Paint the Mind: Colors of Hope aimed to showcase students’ artistic talents and provide a platform for expressing perspectives and advocating for mental health awareness through visual art.

This achievement highlights the diverse talents of Physical Education majors, demonstrating that their creativity and excellence extend beyond the field of sports and physical activity into the realm of visual arts.

𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗕𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗛𝗔𝗡!

The Association of Physical Education Majors proudly celebrates our Bachelor of Physical Education athletes who represented the West Visayas State University-Main Campus during the University Hinampang 2026, held last September 29 to October 2 at WVSU Lambunao Campus.

Through every game and challenge, the Blue Falcons showed determination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, reflecting the athletic excellence of PE majors in the field of sports.

Beyond the laurels and medals, Hinampang was a journey of friendship, shared memories, and the pride of representing our whole University.

To our APEMilya athletes, madamo gid nga salamat sa inyong dedikasyon sa pagsipal!
