APRIL 12 ,2026 - A productive and inspiring visit from the District Rotaract Representative Floyd Susarno as the club proudly presented its projects this Rotary year. The club was applauded and congratulated for its accomplishments, reflecting a year of meaningful service and impact.

This success highlights the strong leadership of our Club President Jessa Subang who tirelessly showed up and uplift the club with her positive energy while she also effectively upheld her role as Council Chair with dedication and excellence.

Congratulations as well to our President-Elect Vincent Fuentes Mahometano for stepping up to serve as Council Auditor for the next Rotary year.

This moment made us reflect on how the club managed to fulfill its goal this Rotary Year despite the challenges. ๐Ÿ’ช

The Rotaract Club of Central Iloilo City, under the leadership of Pres. Jessa Subang, proudly launched its pet project, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐–๐„๐‹๐‹ ๐๐„๐ˆ๐๐†: ๐ˆ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ, a transformative initiative that places personal development at the heart of leadership, while cultivating emotionally intelligent young leaders through personal and cognitive growth.

Focused on strengthening emotional regulation under pressure, fostering empathy in service, managing conflicts within teams, and practicing non-violent communication, the session empowered participants to lead with both heart and purpose.

Held last March 28, 2026, the online talk featured Mr. Wes Bertrand, a professional licensed counselor, as the guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on navigating leadership through emotional intelligence.

Because true leadership begins from within. When we grow as individuals, we become better leaders for others.

Fulfilling our commitment to building โœจ ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™˜๐™ก๐™ช๐™จ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™š ๐™‚๐™ง๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™™๐™จ โœจwithin the community, our beneficiaries of the barista training proudly showcased their skills through a pop-up coffee cart during PROCON sa Iloilo 2026 held on February 20โ€“22 at Grand Xing Imperial Hotel.

More than just serving coffee, they served confidence, determination, and proof that opportunities can transform lives. Each cup poured was a testament to their growth, resilience, and the power of skills development in creating pathways toward empowerment and self-sufficiency. โ˜•

This initiative stands as a reminder that true service lies in uplifting others and creating spaces where everyone is given the chance to thrive.

Strengthening bonds over meaningful conversations and the exchange of ideas, the Rotaract Club of Central Iloilo City warmly welcomed their Twin Club, the Rotaract Club of Iligan Bay, for a memorable gastronomic tour around Iloilo City last February 24, 2026.

From savoring the rich flavors of Ilonggo cuisine to sharing stories, laughter, and best practices in service, the experience became more than just a food tripโ€”it was a celebration of friendship, culture, and Rotaract fellowship. Each stop reflected not only the cityโ€™s vibrant culinary heritage but also the growing connection between two clubs united by service above self.

Through this meaningful exchange, both clubs deepened their partnership, inspired one another, and strengthened their commitment to creating impactful projects in their respective communities. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

In partnership with the Office of Kathy Gorriceta and Robinsons Malls, this meaningful initiative brought joy, hope, and unforgettable moments to children and families reminding everyone that even the simplest wishes can shine the brightest when shared with love.

Through this celebration, the spirit of giving was truly felt, as smiles were created, hearts were warmed, and dreams were inspired.

The Rotaract Club of Iloilo City partnered with the Association of Political Science and Public Administration Students - CPU in the Good Governance Summit last March 7, 2026 at UP Little Theater, Iloilo City.

Grounded in the belief that good governance is a cornerstone of peace, the summit served as a platform to deepen understanding on how transparency, accountability, and inclusive decision-making can prevent conflict and foster harmonious communities.

As young leaders, we recognize that peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, integrity, and mutual respect.
