The workshop resonated with powerful messages, including:
"Climate Justice is Social Justice, and fighting for the climate is fighting for the people."
"Dream big, start small, and be stubborn." - Farwiza Fahran
Under the theme "๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ," women from diverse regions of the Philippines convened to share their personal journeys and inspire others to transcend limiting expectations. From spearheading grassroots climate initiatives to pioneering eco-conscious innovations, these women are demonstrating that female-led leadership can be both profoundly empowering and vital for healing our planet.
Studentsโ participation was made possible thru the effort of Mrs. Rosanna R. Dureza, Head of the Environment and Climate Change Office and the support of GAD Office with Dr. Alma Mae S. Torremoro - Officer-in-charge, and most especially the ISAT U Administration headed by Dr. Gabriel M. Salistre, Jr.
