Biggest congratulations to our SSLG officers as they took the challenge during this year's Boy and Girl Officials event, part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 celebration.

As they walk through confidence and pride as Girl Mayor Adrina Heart Sayson, with Girl Vice Mayor Rhea Jasmine Palma, and SB member boy Sujan Martizano.

From the first match until the last, our student-athletes showed real passion, discipline, and sportsmanship giving their best in every event and proving what the Fisherian spirit is all about.

To all our student-athletes: win or lose, kayo ang bida ngayong Palaro. Salamat sa dedication at effort niyo sa loob ng buong laro.

YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2026โœจโค๏ธ

Yesterday, the SSLG had the privilege of joining the Youth Summit, where we gained valuable insights from inspiring speakers and fellow young leaders. The discussions on The Art of Youthful Leadership, Enhancing Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Leadership for Personal Development, Leadership for History and Heritage Care, and Leadership for Good Governance reminded us that leadership is built through continuous learning, integrity, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Every session challenged us to reflect on how we can become better leaders, not only in school but also in our communities.

More than just attending a summit, this experience gave us new perspectives, strengthened our sense of responsibility, and inspired us to lead with purpose. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside fellow youth leaders. As we return to our school, we carry these lessons with us and remain committed to serving with compassion, inspiring positive change, and creating opportunities that will benefit every learner.

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can change someone's whole day. ๐Ÿ’œ๐ŸŽˆ Whether it's sharing a smile, sticking up for a friend, or simply saying hello to someone sitting alone being a buddy costs nothing but means everything.

The numbers back this up: about 19% of students ages 12โ€“18 report being bullied at school, with rates even higher among girls and certain student groups. In 2025, school bullying rates climbed to 35.5% for the first time since the pandemic, more students experienced bullying in person than online. The effects are real: bullying can lead to anxiety, depression, lower academic performance, and even self-harm.

Bullying leaves scars that don't always show, but kindness leaves a mark too just a better one. Let's build a community where everyone feels safe, valued, and included. Be the friend you'd want to have.
