The 4th and 5th session were filled with progress, practice, and plenty of adorable smiles! The learners showed not only improved confidence as they read but also improved engagement in activities. With this, the children build stronger foundational skills while also having fun.

Meet our 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 from the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 who recently attended 7th PHINMA 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔' 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕 in Saint Jude College Manila with the theme: 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉𝑫𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆: 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒕.

Out of 10 chosen individuals, 𝟒 of them are from our Department.

They embodied, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, representing our institution with pride.

Through plenary sessions, workshops, and interactive activities, they acquired and improved their leadership skills, forged lifelong friendships, and made unforgettable memories along the way.

We're thrilled to see them grow and make a positive impact towards our Student Body and the Community.

𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 ✨

The T-Chers kicked things off with Tatlong Bibe — our little kasama sang along and had so much fun quacking together! 🦆

We then explored the short vowel sound /e/ through songs, picture games, and even a life-sized Snake and Ladder activity! 🎲 The kids clapped, cheered, and learned new words like bed, ten, and red while playing.

To wrap up, we introduced the -en, -et, and -ed word families — and everyone proudly showed how much they’ve learned in their activity workbooks. 📝

𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗔 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱!

Today, T-Classroom held the first session and preliminary assessment for 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐀𝐒𝐀𝐌𝐀: 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 — 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐚, 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐠-𝐀𝐬𝐚.

This initiative aims to nurture children’s love for reading, strengthen their foundational literacy skills, and build a supportive community that shares the responsibility of learning. 💡

Our first step began with a preliminary reading assessment to understand the children’s needs and design activities that will help them grow in confidence, fluency, and comprehension. We’re so excited for the weeks ahead as we journey 𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒂 the kids, youth volunteers, and the community towards shared learning and shared hope. 🤝🏻✨
