As we celebrate the 128th Independence Day of our beloved country, the Philippines, may we truly understand the importance of it and the importance of continuing to raise our voice collectively, most especially regarding those government issues that truly affect our lives.

Before, our own leaders fought for the freedom that we have today, but now, our own leaders are the ones who betrayed and mocked us. Budgets that could help our farmers in the agriculture sector, students for Quality Education, and families for better health care, ended up in the pockets of what we so call "Honorables".

The question is, Hanggang kailan tayo mananahimik? Kailan natin makukuha ang Kalayaan sa kurapsyon para sa bawat Pilipino?

The 4-H Club Pavia, celebrates the independence of the Philippines in the same way, shouting for justice and answers to all issues that continue to arise.

𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐆𝐎: 1𝘴𝘵 𝘐𝘭𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘰 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦

The Iloilo Provincial Government, through the Office of the Local Youth Development Officer, held a BIDA KABATAANG ILONGGO, a first Iloilo provincial youth convergence that gathers 230 delegates from all 42 municipalities and the lone component city in Iloilo on June 2, 2026, at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel, Iloilo City.

This event highlights the province's priority to its young people belonging in public life now and highlights the youth's power as positive change makers of our community here in Iloilo and, more so, of our country, the Philippines.

Attending the event is our very own 4-𝘏 𝘊𝘭𝘶𝘣 𝘔𝘶𝘯. 𝘍𝘦𝘥. 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗩. 𝗚𝘂𝘆𝗼𝘀 (SK & Community-Based Organization), with fellow Youth Leaders, 𝘚𝘔𝘠𝘔 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗡. 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼 𝗝𝗿. (Faith-Based Organization) and 𝘛𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘢 𝘗𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘱𝘦𝘳, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗬𝗮𝗽 (School-Based Organization), together with the 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘢𝘷𝘪a, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼.

This Bida Kabataang Ilonggo Talk and Activities focused on the role of the youth in the field of leadership, public service, and youth collaboration in programmes and impact that take center stage in championing every Kabataang Ilonggo.

As the keynote speaker said, “𝘞𝘌 𝘚𝘏𝘖𝘜𝘓𝘋 𝘊𝘖𝘓𝘓𝘈𝘉𝘖𝘙𝘈𝘛𝘌, 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘊𝘖𝘔𝘗𝘌𝘛𝘌." Asec. Juanquine "Wacky" Racho Castro, commissioner representing the Visayas at the National Youth Commission (NYC) of the Philippines, emphasises that there should be no competition but rather collaboration in making a step to a more youth-empowered Iloilo.

Indeed, Bida ang Tagsa ka Kabataang Ilonggo, where every Ilonggo youth is part of the Mantra MoRProGRes Iloilo Province.

The 4-H Club of the Philippines-Iloilo Province Chapter conducted its 2nd quarter meeting on May 25, 2026, at Casa Real, Iloilo City.

The 4-H Club Pavia Municipal Federation participated in the presence of Vice President Ms. Carla Joy Lozada, on behalf of President Mr. Barry V. Guyos and Coordinator Mrs. Leah A. Calambro.

It was a great growth for almost 6 months in Iloilo Province. Let's continue to show the clovering impact of our clovering initiatives! ✨🤝

𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐒 𝐓𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐘’𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆✨🧑‍🎨

Members of the 4-H Club Pavia and the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) came together on April 30, 2026, at the 2nd Floor Farmers Building in Pavia, Iloilo, for a hands-on training focused on souvenirs and giveaways. The activity explores creative ways of transforming simple materials into meaningful keepsakes.

The speaker was Mrs. Bona Jordan, owner of Bons and Blooms Flower Shop, who generously shared her expertise and demonstrated practical techniques in crafting unique and presentable items. Her passion and insights inspired participants to embrace creativity and incorporate a personal touch into their work.

The training was both informative and engaging, leaving participants motivated and equipped with new ideas that they can apply in future activities and community events.

The 4-H Club members turned an ordinary day into a vibrant learning experience as they gathered for a floral art training together with the Rural Improvement Club (RIC) on April 29, 2026, on the 2nd floor of the Farmer’s Building in Pavia, Iloilo.

Surrounded by dried leaves and flowers and guided with creativity, the participants explored the beauty of arranging flowers—transforming simple petals into meaningful expressions of art in a frame.

This training reflects that young individuals' creativity truly blossoms.✨🖼️
