Three Tubunganon Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) from the Municipality of Tubungan, Iloilo who are currently working in the Middle East have requested repatriation due to ongoing tension. The Municipal Public Employment Service Office (MPESO) of Tubungan is now coordinating with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) to determine the appropriate assistance for the affected OFWs.

Based on the latest monitoring, 310 OFWs from Tubungan are currently deployed in different Middle Eastern countries. Of this number, three have requested repatriation, while 307 remain safe and have chosen to continue working abroad.

The Municipality of Tubungan is ready to provide financial assistance to returning OFWs. In addition, 180 families of OFWs in Tubungan will benefit from the DOLE-TUPAD program, which will provide 10 days of emergency employment to help support their families.

📢 FINAL CALL | OFW PROFILING ADVISORY

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Municipality of Tubungan respectfully issues a final call to all Tubunganon Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) currently working in the Middle East, especially those who may be affected by the ongoing tension in the region.

We kindly request the immediate family members or relatives of our OFWs to coordinate with the PESO Office today, March 7, 2026, for the profiling and documentation of our Tubunganon workers abroad. This initiative aims to help the Local Government Unit monitor their situation and provide appropriate assistance should the need arise.

For those who have not yet submitted the required information, you may send a private message through our official page with the following details of the OFW:

• Employer and Company Information
• Contact Details of Immediate Family
