When communities rise, recovery must be inclusive.

Project Kaleidoscope brings rapid relief, dignity-based support, psychosocial healing spaces, and creative recovery opportunities to LBTQN+ women affected by Typhoon Tino, Super Typhoon Uwan, and the earthquakes in Cebu.

The Iloilo Pride Team will be joining local partners in San Remigio and Cebu City to deliver assistance and facilitate art-based healing sessions centered on writing and mobile photography.

Selected artworks and narratives will be compiled into a community zine. Relief meets immediate needs, but stories can carry healing and impact far beyond the moment.

Because recovery should reach everyone.

We always hear the term "Safe Space" being thrown around in our schools, organizations, and online communities. But what does it actually look like in practice?

A genuine safe space is more than just a labelโ€”it's felt in the culture, the rules, and the way people treat each other. As we gear up to dismantle toxic environments at the CLAIM YOUR SPACE: National Youth Summit this April 18, we want to hear from YOU.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is the #1 "Green Flag" that tells you a classroom, campus organization, or friend group is genuinely a SAFE and INCLUSIVE space for everyone? Is it the way they handle jokes? Is it how leaders listen to feedback?

Drop your best "Safe Space Green Flags" in the comments below! The top 3 best and most insightful comments will be officially revealed and highlighted during an upcoming special event held by KAWSA Philippines!

Letโ€™s learn from each other and build the blueprint for the spaces we deserve. ๐ŸŸฉ
