On the weekend before Valentine’s, our Singles and Couples came together for the first time to talk about something that matters deeply: love, dating, relationships, marriage, and singlehood. ❤️

True to GCF ILOILO's desire to be a connected and committed church, we created space to learn and do life together across seasons, across stories, across generations.

During the panel, two couples — Ptr. Ryan & Chummy (12 years married) and Ptr. Mark & Miss Meira (20 years married) — shared their journeys of waiting, of choosing peace over emotion, and of building their relationships (and lives!) on the Word, not the world. We also heard from Yen, who reminded us that purposeful singlehood is not lack; Christ is enough, and He can be trusted with our lives and love stories.

We then broke into table talks, where singles and couples asked honest questions, listened openly, and gained wisdom from one another. There was laughter, reflection, and meaningful conversations all around.

“Conversations on Love: A Singles x Couples Connect Event” warmly welcomed over 60 participants, 20 of whom came from friend churches. Thank You, Lord, for making this gathering possible. 🙏🏼

Different seasons, same faithful God. May we continue to find our true satisfaction in Him alone, wherever we are in our journey.

A year ago, God allowed us to gather for our first-ever Singles Retreat — THRIVE 🌱

What began as a prayer became a weekend of worship, learning, laughter, and community. Through the Word, workshops, and shared stories, we learned that to thrive is to be rooted in Christ — growing deeper in His love and trusting the pace of His grace.

To everyone who prayed, served, gave, and came… thank you. 💚 May we continue to grow faithfully where He’s planted us, and look forward to what God will do next in the Singles community of GCF Iloilo (and Iloilo City).

Hope to see you again soon on our next gathering! Until then and always, let’s keep thriving in Him.

HEART >> FORWARD Singles Weekend was a beautiful display of God’s goodness in community. ✨

To every participant, volunteer, and sponsor, thank you for being with us last September 19–20, 2025. Through worship, shared stories, and walking side by side in this season of singleness, we hope you experienced the freedom, joy, and purpose we continue to discover in Christ.

Our hearts are full, but the work of grace goes on. Let’s keep moving forward — toward God, toward others, and toward the calling He has placed before us. ♥️➡️

After the optional morning run and photowalk, we gathered for worship and the Word. Ptr. Maymon shared Called to Love — a reminder that we can only love because Christ first loved us. 💖
