Eleven years on, the enthusiasm for campus journalism continues to find its way into every edition of Tinta kag Tinaga. 📰✨
Last September 26, 400 young journalists from 21 schools came to Nueva Valencia Central School, where they competed in news, feature, editorial, sports, column, and science and technology writing, along with editorial cartooning, photojournalism, copyreading and headline writing, and media and information literacy.
With writers, editors, cartoonists, and photojournalists sharing the same venue, the day brought together students whose work may take different forms but begins with the same instinct to observe and make sense of what they encounter.
It was a fitting picture of Year 11: many disciplines, many young journalists, and plenty of room for each to do the work they came for.
Padayon, mga pamatan-on nga mamahayag! Ang inyo talento, ipabugal! 📰✨
