Kappa Phi Sigma (KAUGYON) KAUGYON The Kappa Phi Sigma Fraternity-Sorority was founded in 1976 at the West Visayas State College (now University).

It originated as KAUGYON Fraternity Sorority thus carrying the Greek symbols in its acronym. It later expanded in the University of San Agustin (1977) and Western Institute of Technology (1978). Thus, it became the gathering of the best and brightest students who foster academic excellence and leadership bonded by lifetime brotherhood and sisterhood. Now, the organization continues and desires in the achievement of its principles and objectives.
